Broken Glass (Tyler Lupin)

13~ Mr Creek

Tyler walked over to Jo, she had Just woken up.

The day before

Jo ran, as fast as she could, and nocked on the door. "Mr Creek!" She yelled, grabbing her bag. "I have my homework!"

There was no reply.

She opened the door and walked In, slowly. She placed her homework down on Mr Creek's desk. As Jo got ready to leave, she heard Mr Creek approach. He was In the corridor, talking to a young Slytherin boy.

"It's true, I heard Tyler say It" Mr Creek announced, very loudly. Jo leaned against the door. "So...he...he's a werewolf?" The student answered. Jo gasped, her heart started to race. Did Tyler tell someone about Remus?

"Yes, he Is" Mr Creek said. The other boy ran off at once to tell everyone. The Proffesor walked Into the classroom, and was startled when he saw Jo, standing there with her mouth wide open.

"How could you?!" She yelled. "That's private Information!" Mr Creek looked at her and laughed. "I don't want a werewolf In my class" He spat. She started to get very very angry. "Remus looked up to you! He-"

"Remus? Why would I care about Remus? I'm talking about Tyler" He stared at her, confused. Jo suddenly felt very scared. She had almost exposed Moony, and she didn't mean to. She would never.

"Oh, yeah...Tyler, of course...he's the werewolf..." She mumbled. She tried to leave, but he wouldn't let her. "They're brother's aren't they? Are they both wolves?" He asked. Jo shook her head.

"It doesn't work like that you moron! You have to get bitten!" She pushed past Mr Creek and ran out of the room. She rushed back to her dorm room. Unfortunately, he had followed her. He opened the door to her room and ran In, pulling out his wand.

"Don't worry, this will only take a second" He said. Jo pulled out her own wand. "Expe-" "Obliviate!" He casted the spell and Jo fell to the floor, unconscious.

Present Day

Jo sat up, rubbed her head and groaned. "Tyler...?" She mumbled, looking at him. He stood, nervously, hands in his pockets to stop them from moving about. "Are you okay?" He asked, looking at her, then at the floor, then at her again.

"I think so...what happened?" She asked. He shrugged. Mary ran over to her, followed by Regulus. "Jo! Who hurt you! You must tell me" McDonald demanded. Regulus passed Jo a glass of water. "Thank you..." She smiled at him and took a sip, before answering Mary's question.

"I'm not sure, Maybe It will come back to me..." Pomfrey walked over to them. "I have a special remedy for forgetting, would you Like It to help you remember?" She asked. Jo nodded. Ponfrey passed the medication to Tyler who then passed It to Jo.

Their hands touched, for a mere second, but for Tyler It felt like years had passed. She thanked him and took the medicine. After that she started to feel alot better. "I think...I think I was arguing with someome" Jo whispered.

Tyler pulled out the parchment. "Was It Mr Creek?" He asked. She suddenly gasped, remembering everything. "Yes! It was...I overheard him telling everyone that you were a werewolf, and when I confronted him about It, he erased my memory" She shuffled, nervously.

Tyler was beyond angry, he wanted to tear Mr Creek to shreds. One, for exposing him and two, for hurting Jo. It was unneceptable. "He's going to pay for-" "Tyler" Pomfrey stopped him. "I'll tell Dumbledore about It, do not, under any circumstances, go after him yourself. We don't know what he's capable of, I mean...he probably wanted to get you expelled. And we can't have that"

He nodded, then noticed that Jo was staring at him. "What are you looking at?" He mumbled. "Nothing, you Just...you look different" She answered. He did look different. His hair was shorter, he had an earing, he wore a leather Jacket instead of the robes. "Good different or bad different?" Tyler asked, nervously. "Just...different"

He didn't know how to respond to that, so he left. He told everyone that he had to go class, to wich pomfrey gave him an 'I'm not convinced' look. He ignored It, and walked out. He couldn't stop thinking about what Creek had done to Jo, and how It was all his fault. What If she had been hurt really badly, or worse, killed.

He walked Into the courtyard for some fresh air, but he wasn't alone for long. "Tyler!" He turned around, It was Remus. He looked angry. "Y..yeah?" He was cut off, because Remus punched him. "What was that for!" Ty screamed. "For pretending to be a werewolf. I'd never thought you'd stoop so low!"

"Please, If you'll Just let me explain-" Tyler said, but Remus cut him off. "No! You have no Idea what It's like to be me! And you have no right to use my condition as a way to get attention!" He screamed. That really stung. Tyler took a deep breath. "I told Jeremy I was the werewolf so he'd stop bothering you about It, okay! I never wanted this to happen!"

Remus wasn't sure whether to believe him or not. "Why didn't you correct them?" He asked. "I don't know, Because I'm stupid" Tyler mumbled. "I'm sorry, I wasn't trying to patronize you. It was the opposite actually-" "The opposite, seriously? I don't need your protection"

I was impossible to argue with him, especially this close to a full moon. Anything Tyler said made him more and more angry, he couldn't win. "I really am sorry" Tyler repeated, hoping that would be enough. "How did everyone find out?" Remus asked. Tyler looked at the floor. "It wad Mr Creek, he told everyone because he's a Jerk"

"No, he wouldn't do that, he's a good teacher-" "your only saying that because you have a fat crush on him" Tyler spat. There was an uncomfortable moment of silence before Remus punched him again. This time Tyler fought back. He threw Remus on to the floor and punched, over and over. Remus was stronger than him, though, and managed to get back on top.

"Stop! He hurt Jo okay!" Tyler yelled. Remus stopped. "He did what?" He looked scared, and angry. Ty nodded. "Yesterday, he used a spell on her, she's in the hospital wing for merlins sake, so get off me!" He shoved Remus aside, and stood up. They were both beaten up pretty bad. "What you did was wrong, I hope you know that" Remus said, before running to the hospital Wing.

"I know" Tyler whispered. Rain started to pour down. He walked out into the field and screamed, as loud as possibly could. This whole thing had been a nightmare. And all he wanted to do was murder Creek.
