I woke up this morning with a text from Toya.

K = Kohane

T: Good morning
K: Good morning how's your day going
T: I'm great, what about you?
K: I'm good tysm for asking
T: I've got a question for you
K: sure what is it
T: since Valentine's Day is coming up, I was wondering if you'd like to go to the park with me on Valentine's Day?
K: of course!
T: Alright, would noon work?
K: yeah ofc
T: sounds good
K: alright have a good day
T: u too

Well it was good I'd have someone to spend my Valentine's Day with, i was planning on going to the store to buy him some gifts for valentines day. I got up and changed and headed to the store. I went over to the Valentine's Day isle and saw An. "Hey An!" I said. "Oh hi!" An said, it looked like she didn't expect to see me here. "Oh! Who are you shopping for?" I asked, "Akito." An sighed. "Really? You like Akito?" I asked again. "Yeah, it kind of just happened, and I have zero idea what he likes!" An groaned. "Hm, I remember Toya said that Akito likes cheesecake, maybe you can buy him some?" I suggested. "Yeah, that's a good idea, I'll get some chocolates also so I can have the cooler gift!" An laughed. "Anyways let me guess, shopping for Toya?" An guessed. "Yeah," I responded. "We've been talking a lot lately." I smiled. "I'm so happy for you Kohane!" An smiled. "Thank you! Same thing with you and Akito!" I said back, picking up some chocolate and Valentine's Day cookies. "Valentine's Day is tomorrow! I'm so excited to see Toya!" I giggled. "You guys are super cute, I wish Akito would be nice to me for once." An joked. "I'm sure he will," I smiled. "Anyways see you." An said, carrying some chocolates. "Bye!" I waved as she left. I decided to pay for my things and then go home.

(Valentine's Day)

I walked to the park that me and Toya were going to hang out, and saw he was already there. "Hi Kohane." Toya greeted. "Hey! I have something for you." I said handing him the chocolates and cookies. "Thank you Kohane, I got you something too." Toya gave me a bag and a bouquet. Inside the bag were some chocolates, a plush, and a card. "Thank you so much!" I smiled. Toya smiled back as we entered the park.

"Wow, these Cherry Blossoms are so beautiful!" I gasped. "Not as pretty as you." Toya smiled. (sorry don't click off 😭) I slightly blushed at the compliment. (I'm cringing too dw) a few minutes later we walked around and talked. In my head I was hyping myself up to hold his hand. I took a few deep breaths and moved my hand next to his so it barely touched. A few seconds later we began to hold hands, I looked at him, he was slightly blushing, so was I. We both spoke for a few more hours then both went home. I was sitting in my bed when I I remembered the card that Toya gave me. I went to the other side of my room and got the card, then sat down to read it.

Dear Kohane,
I hope you have a very wonderful Valentine's Day, I just want you to know that I am glad that I met you, and I'm very lucky to have you, and I love you.

I gasped at the "I love you" at the end. I immediately grabbed my phone to text An.

A: What's up
K: Toya said in his card he loves me!!!!!!
A: OMGGGGGGG DID YALL GET TOGETHER?
K: not yet
A: you should do it next week
K: are you sure
A: yesss
K: anyway how'd you and Akito go?
A: he gave me chocolate and ice cream so I guess we're even
K: haha
A: You and Toya should go on another date
K: yeah I know, but where?
A: the dance! My school is having a dance
K: would I be allowed to go?
A: if you get a guest pass then yeah, a bunch of people who don't go to my school come
K: Alright, I'll chat in the group chat that I'll be able to come!

Everyone's going to the dance with each other now, I decided to go to the mall to find a dress to wear.

At the mall I went into the dress store and looked for something cute. I found a pink dress with flowers on it. I decided that it would be a pretty dress to wear. I then went home to get ready for the dance.
