dream-like features lined your face
thought i'd love you all along
thought there's an element of you in every space
i thought of you as a rainy day
i could've listened to you forever
wished maybe one day you'd say
don't be sad,
don't be gray,
I'll love you forever
i think of you now
as the one who tricked me
lied to my face
ignored me when i would beg and plead for you
to just take care of yourself
i wish i didn't still have to see you all the time
i wish you'd disappear
or maybe me
i'll stay in my head a bit longer for now
