ITS THANKSGIVING. i hate thanksgiving. it reminds me that i have the shittiest parents to exist. and how i can't see my brother. so katherine let's me sleep in for how long i want.

"hey who's this?" i say with my hand out to shake the man's hand that's standing in-front of me.

"this is richard, jackie's uncle he's coming round for thanksgiving" "hey i'm richard" "lesley" i reply not being rude. "is she one of yours?" he asks katherine "oh no she's alex'a bestfriend, she's staying with us for a while" she looks at me with a smile reassuring me that i'm always safe and welcome here.

i walk into the kitchen while there having their own conversation i try looking for something to drink.

"mom lees drinking wine" Jordan says, making gorge snatch the wine out of lees hand. "wow lee what are you doing buddy" gorge says to lee. "we're allowed to drink wine on special occasions" lee states to gorge trying to take it back from him.

"no, that's absolutely not true" Katherine tells lee. "here how about you drink this" she says handing him a beverage.

"hey you okay?" i say to lee making sure he's okay. "yeah fine, go ask your stupid boyfriend" "my what!?" "sorry just upset" he says in a low tone feeling bad about what he says.

"speaking of alcohol" richard says getting up making sure we all heard him. "i heard Jackie, skipped school, got drunk, and went to a unsupervised party at a lake recently" i spit my drink out in surprise how did he know. "that sort of thing happen often?"

"jackie got drunk" parker stood there in shock on what richard just said.

"urm everybody under the age of 35 , let's get out of the kitchen" gorge says "that's you, you, you, you come on" ye starts pointing at us all kicking us out of the kitchen.

as i wait for everyone upstairs in my room i hear the door opening. so i start going downstairs because i am starvingg.

"oh hey erin" i say confused on why she's here with jackie? that's weird swear they don't like eachother. whatever.

i walk into the kitchen, "wow, this all looks great, now which ones Alex's so i can avoid it as much as i can" i say "rude" alex says smacking me round the head sitting beside me.

"okay guys let's sit down" gorge says getting to get everyone's attention. "i thought before we dive in we could all go round and say something we're all grateful for this year.

"cole lets start with you" he says looking at his son "uh, i guess i'm grateful that the broncos didn't actually wipe out this year.

"i'm grateful, for the long weekend and to watch more movies" danny says after cole.

"i'm graceful i didn't have to cook today, and you all should be too" alex says looking around, "amen to that" i say straight after catching everyone else's attention making them laugh. along with alex rolling his eyes.

"i'm grateful for everyone here and a big thank you to alex for being my bestfriend and being there when he was" i say looking at alex and back to katherine and gorge. "and we're happy your here today" gorge sends a smile to lesley.

"i'm grateful that i had the chance to learn about the native day of morning" Nathan says.

"i don't feel like it" lee says still holding his grudge. "well" isaac says breaking the silence "i'm grateful, urm, that the ladies love me for my charm and my good looks" isaac says giving a smirk to lesley "yeah you wish" lesley says that's giving him a look and mimicking gagging noises. "and we're both grateful to be apart of this family, right lee" he says look at lee and back to the table.
