Chapter 18: Day 3 of .. (I can't tell him..)

*Branch wakes up, the same routine with Poppy in his bed sleeping soundly. He feels tired as fuck but his head. It feels better now. Did it finally heal? It hasn't even been a week yet.*

*How did it heal so fast? He should tell Floyd that he's better! He would be so happy that his brother is completely healed!*

*So would Poppy! Wait, does that mean. Would Floyd also leave? He did say he would only stay until he was fully healed.*

*Does that mean. He's gonna leave? Branch didn't want him to leave yet.*

*These past few days have been one of the best days of his life and they were all with his brothers. He didn't want them to leave again. *

*If he didn't tell Floyd, then he wouldn't leave, but he would eventually catch on after a week or so.*

*He wanted to tell Floyd but his heart didn't want him to do that. He would be alone in his bunker again.*

*He didn't want that. Not again. Even if he would still visit, it wouldn't be the same. He can't tell him.*

*Not yet. Branch walked towards the couch, waiting for Floyd and Poppy to wake up.*

*They finally did after a while and Floyd said good morning to the both of them. Floyd started to make breakfast for all of them.*

*Branch saw Poppy was about to walk to the elevator but Branch stopped her hugging her. Poppy looked surprised on what Branch just did since this was a rare occurrence.*

P:"Wow, I rarely see you hug anybody Branch! What's the occasion?"

B:"Nothing. I'm just going to miss you."

P:"Don't worry because I'll be back later anyway, but I'll miss you too."

F:"Bye Poppy."

B:"Bye."

P:"Bye!"

*Poppy gets lifted up to the surface while, Branch is waving to her slowly on the ground. Branch walks towards Floyd, helping him cook.*

*After a short time, they finished making the food and started to eat it. Branch being the good boyfriend he is, saved the rest of the breakfast for Poppy.*

*Floyd allowed him to do it anyway. The brothers didn't know what to do today so they were just going to chill in the bunker today.*

*Branch was tired as hell so he went to sleep and Floyd was just exercising his legs.*

*Branch had trouble going to sleep by the guilt that he was healed but he didn't tell Floyd or Poppy or anybody. He was the only one that knew.*

*Branch didn't feel like sleeping anymore. He knew that he would just have nightmares again if he did. Branch didn't know what to do now.*

*So he just looked at the ceiling while laying down, trying to calm down from theses thoughts that are so annoying. Meanwhile, Poppy was observing the village, y'know just being queen.*

*She had to do a sanitary check in one of the new buildings and it was about time for her to go. She walked over to the building and went inside.*

*The owner was right in front of the desk talking to an employee. The owner noticed Poppy behind them.*

O:"Oh hello! Welcome!"

P:"Hi, I'm the troll who came to check your building's sanitation to see if this will be official to open."

O:"Oh alright! Come on in."

*Poppy went through the whole process and everything was great so far. Everything went up to the standards. Everything seemed perfect.*

*Poppy told them that everything was great and they passed it. They both finished their business and Poppy went out the building.*

*Poppy felted tired from that so she was going to take a break and go back to Branch at his bunker. Once Poppy made it to his bunker, she went down on the elevator and she caught the sight of Floyd stretching now.*

*Floyd's attention was onto her, staying still looking at her and back at the floor. Floyd sat down and laughed a little, embarrassed she caught Floyd like this.*

F:"Sorry Poppy, if you're looking for Branch he should be in his room. He might be sleeping so be quiet."

P:"Oh alright."

*Poppy walked towards Branch's room and opens it slowly to prevent any sound that could wake up Branch. She saw that Branch was in his bed, just looking at the ceiling.*

*She wondered why he was doing that, so she walked up to his bed and sat down on the side. Branch got scared a little, not knowing that Poppy was there.*

B:"O-Uhm, h-hi Poppy."

P:"And how are you doing Branchifer?"

B:"I'm fine, I was just uh laying in my bed. Just a little tired, heh."

P:"Alright, I just wanted to see how you were is all."

B:"Oh alright."

*Poppy kisses Branch on the cheek as she gets off the bed and walks out the door. Branch was not completely red but he did get doozy after that and fell back on his pillow.*

*His thoughts weren't that bad once Poppy did that. He started to feel tired again. Branch could hear Poppy talking to Floyd in the living room.*

*Branch started to fall asleep. He then fell asleep for the rest of the day.*
