Chapter 24: Picnic preparations!

(BEFOFE THIS STARTS: I'M SORRY IF ANYTHING SAID IN THIS CHAPTER IS NOT AN APPROVAL TO YOUR LIKING, OBVIOUSLY THIS IS NOT CANON SO, PLEASE UNDERSTAND, ANYWAYS PLEASE ENJOY THE SECOND TO LAST CHAPTER. ALSO IM SORRY THAT THIS WAS POSTED A DAY LATE AGAIN.)

(How about we go into Floyd's perspective for once!)

Floyd's POV

*Branch and I were preparing all the items we might need for the picnic while Poppy was preparing all of the food.*

*I heard a sound of the elevator coming down into the bunker, it was JD and Bruce ready for the picnic already! We only called them an hour ago!*

"That was fast. It's not even 3 pm yet!"

S/B:"We just wanted to be prepared!"

JD:"Even thought Bruce forced me to come with him, 4 HOURS EARLY."

"Hehe, that's alright. You can help us with packing or help Poppy with the food if you like. Clay and Viva are in their room."

JD:"Ooooo, the lovebirds are in the same rooooom."

S/B:"Shut up, JD. It's just love, as if you would ever get any."

JD:"As if I even want to date, I already have Rhonda to accompany me!"

"Calm down you two! Just help us with this packing for the picnic already. You can argue when the picnic is. OVER."

*JD started to help me and Branch with packing and Bruce helped Poppy with cooking. After an hour or so, Clay and Viva woke up. Just in time, we just finished packing.*

"Hurry, you two! Go change, we just finished packing for the picnic."

*Clay ran into his room and Viva ran up to Poppy asking if she could borrow some of her clothes since she didn't bring any fancy clothes, since she wasn't aware of the picnic before anyway.*

*She agreed and ran into Poppy's room.*

*Branch and JD went to their rooms to change, so I followed as well, into my room.*

*I started to look for some nice clothes, I had to wear a shirt, because Branch told me to. Even though, I didn't really want to. Gosh, I sound like a literal child.*

*Anyways, I choose a white shirt, with some dark pink-ish red shorts. I looked so formal. It was hard to get used to this shirt though.*

*It's been a while since I've worn one. I got out of my room and noticed that everybody was ready for the picnic!*

*They all looked so nice. Poppy and Bruce were already finished changing even though when everybody went into their rooms, they were still cooking.*

*I guess they were already prepared. Anyways, it was time for the picnic. It was 2:48 pm!*

"Hey, we should get to the spot now!"

*Poppy looked at the time and gasped loudly.*

P:"IT'S ALREADY 2!?"

"Y-yeah. That's what I was going to tell you, heh."

P:"YOU'RE RIGHT. ITS TIME TO GO NOW!"

*Poppy grabbed the food and extras and grabbed everybody by their tails, which was very painful by her grip. *

*She then, ran to the elevator quickly flipping the lever for the elevator to go up. She almost broke the lever.*

*Once we were at the top, she quickly ran to Rhonda and threw everybody inside. My head hit the chair and I fell on the floor. Well, that hurt, a lot.*

*Poppy was very strong as well. Her grip felt like my tail was being crushed by a rock. That's not a bad thing but damn, Poppy.*

*Your grip didn't have to be that hard, but I can't blame her. She was probably under the pressure of how much time there was left to get there. It was a 15 minute drive and Poppy, she..*

*She did not like being late. Branch told me one time, she was outraged by herself being late to hang out with Branch, she was only late by 2 minutes.*

*You want to know what she did? She punched, not 1, not 2 but 6 holes in the wall! So yea, she was strong.*

*Anyways, I helped up Branch off the floor, as he looked like he felt pain in the back of his head. It was were his injury was as well!*

"Are you ok?"

B:"Ye-"

P:"NO TIME TO TALK! GOTTA GET ON THE ROAD, WE'RE ALMOST LATE! WE'RE GOING TO HAVE TO HUSTLE!"

JD:"Wait, WHAT!?"

B:"POPPY NOO-"

*Poppy then pressed the hustle button, Rhonda's eyes turned into a yellow-ish orange and red swirl. She then started to run, digging a hole into the ground.*

*The world started to look weird, the objects around us changed shapes and colors. My body started to change a bit, the landscape also changed into a world of weird colors and vibrations.*

*My body looked funky and every movement I made was very unusual. Once the hustle stopped, I fell to the floor again but luckily everybody fell onto the couches.*

*I got up but while I was, a rainbow trail went with my movements, like a shadow. I guess the effects didn't wear off yet.*

P:"WE'RE HERE AND WE GOT HERE JUST IN TIME!"

"Poppy, maybe you should calm dow-"

P:"NOT YET, WE HAVEN'T GOT TO THE SPOT YET! WE HAVE TO HURRY OVER THERE NOW. LET'S GO."

*Poppy rushes out the door and ran. Branch had a worried look on his face. I walked up behind him.*

"What should we do now?"

B:"I'm going to look for Poppy, you guys get all the other supplies that Poppy left behind."

*We agreed and we heard a scream in the distance. Branch started to run out the door, as we gathered the rest of the things. Once we finished, we went outside.*
