Adrian asked me out on a lunch date today so here we are, sitting in an upscale restaurant, waiting for our food to come. We just ordered about a minute ago so we're just sitting back relaxed and chatting. I had adorned a stunning wine-red maternity dress. Even though, I'm pregnant, I've gotta admit, I still look like a sexy mom.

He looked so dashing and alluring in that suit I just wanted to make out with him on the spot. His lips are inviting and I just wanted to smash my lips onto his. I shook my head vigorously, shrugging off that thought. Goodness, my hormones are raging. I needed to use the bathroom urgently. When I came back from the lavatory, my lasagna had already been served. Adrian had ordered seafood aglio olio. Anyway, I am starving.
I immediately dig into the meal. We chatted as we ate our meals when suddenly I bit onto a firm object. I yelped in pain and immediately spat it out and to my astonishment, I'd spat out an exquisite ruby-studded ring. I recalled how I told Adrian that I loved ruby-studded rings because my late father proposed to my late mother with a ruby-studded ring and it was my dream to be proposed to with a ruby-studded ring.
My eyes widened in realization as I gasped in shock. I gestured to Adrian as I asked him with teary eyes "Is this what I think it is". Just then, Our family, and our group of friends, as well as Aidan and Alice, popped up their heads from their food and took off their wigs and disguises. They gathered close to our table. Hold on, when did they even get here? It all makes sense now since Our family wasn't at home when we left for our dinner date.
Adrian intertwined our hands and led me to the center of the restaurant, he took the ring from my hand and went down on one knee. This feels surreal. The love of my life is proposing. I just gushed about wanting to marry him but I did not see this coming. Adrian's always given me the most memorable surprises like my birthday 6 months ago. He's such a talented actor, he doesn't let me get an inkling about the proposal.
Tears of joy and bliss gushed down my cheeks as he began his heartfelt speech.

I got down to his level and embraced him so tightly that we collapsed to the floor. I squealed with tears cascading down my face and exclaimed "Yes, yes! a hundred times yes! I love you. He grinned like a Cheshire cat and pulled me into the sweetest, softest kiss I've ever had. We hear an eruption of cheers from our friends and family. We pulled away and I met each one of our family. Adrian's parents gave me a warm hug to welcome me to their family officially and mentioned that now they had full rights to me as parents too which I responded to with a grateful nod. I gave Emma a tight hug as she squealed excitement as we're now not just best friends but also sisters-in-law. Lilian seems to be the most thrilled by this. She ran to me and wrapped her tiny hands around my legs and I sat on my knees to hold her as I couldn't bend to pick her up due to my pregnancy. Lilian kept squealing and exclaiming on and on about how she can call me sissy now. She is so adorable.
I walked over to our friends who gave me a group hug and congratulated me. My bestie, Stacey was full-on sobbing happy tears. This girl is more emotional than I am on my proposal. She's just too thrilled for me. Aidan and Alice walked over to me, and they engulfed me in a brotherly embrace. Aidan even threatened Adrian that if he ever hurt me, he would hunt him down. Adrian seemed to be scared out of his wits because Aidan was taller than him but I knew my Adrian, he would never hurt me.
I then asked why everyone in this venue seemed to be aware of this proposal even the other diners as they were all smiling and watching us. They reveal to me that all the other people sitting in the restaurant and eating are actually Adrian's parents' colleagues. Adrian booked out the whole restaurant for this proposal. He leaves no stone unturned when it comes to making me feel special. I just love this man.
We got back to our table only to see freshly cooked lasagna and aglio olio. The chef made the effort to prepare another warm meal that we could tuck into. I gave the waiter a grateful smile as I asked him to pass the message to the chef, thanking him profusely for this thoughtful gesture.
This is the best day of my life. I have finally found my happy ending.
