It was a tough day for Katie because parents are a crucial part of a wedding but Adrian and their family and friends stayed solid in their support. Adrian was patient, and he was her shoulder to cry on in the days leading up to the wedding. Although, today, she seemed to be glowing differently. This is not the end of her story but a new chapter, a new beginning of an improved life, one that does not echo the dark shadows of her past, but shines the light on the bright future ahead of her.
