"Where you go, I go, what you see, I see, I know I'll never be me,
Without the security, of your loving arms, keeping me from harm."
Skyfall by Adele

THE KIDS MADE THEIR WAY THROUGH THE STREETS OD ST. LOUIS.

Yuri kept looking over her shoulder, checking for Echidna or any other monsters that may decide to pop up.

Grover rambled as he walked, "We aren't gonna be able to outrun them for very long."

Annabeth cut him off, "We don't need to. We just need a safe place to hole up."

Percy turned to look at the girl, "A safe place. Any ideas where we might find one of those." He asked the group.

Grover and Yuri shook their heads.

Annabeth nodded, "I do. A sanctuary, dedicated to Athena, built by one of her demigod children a long time ago."

Yuri turned to look at her friend, "There is temple some where, here in St.Louis?"

"Yes."

Annabeth told her friend, "Except it's not all the hidden."

••••••••

The Gateway Arch, that was Annabeth's grand hiding spot.

She tried to listen to her friend list off facts and information about the monument, but found it hard with the fact she was struggling to breathe.

She had never been this out of breath before, let alone from walking, she had to power walk to keep up with them.

"And it's earthquake proof, so Poseidon can't ruin it."

Yuri blinked, trying to understand what she missed when trying to breathe.

"Nice." Percy stated sarcasm evident in his voice.

"This is how you show Athena your love. A monument to the power of perfection." Annabeth told them, pride in her voice.

"It's a monument to some other stuff, too." Grover said.

"You're talking about what humans want this place to be about. I'm talking about what it actually is." She snapped at him.

"Whatever. We're safe here right?"

Annabeth nodded, "No monster can get in, not even Echidna. We're safe."

"Great" Grover told her.

"Well, since our train exploded, I'm gonna see if there's another on we can get tickets on. We can't stray here forever."

Grover eyes stopped on a pictures of poachers and hunters, "Just because we're prey, doesn't mean we have to be helpless. You coming Yuri?"
