"How to get to Hadestown, you have to take the long way down,
Through the underground, undercover of night."
Wait for me by The cast of HadestownYURI SAT OUT IN THE RAIN, her butt freezing and sticking to the hood off the taxi. She refused to go into the car, once they had figured out that it was unlocked.
She sat out there shivering, her lips nearly blue. She was determined to wait for Percy to come back from the water.
She took a glance down at her watch, seeing that he had been gone for almost a half hour.
Yes she knew he could breathe underwater, but still she was worried for him. After all he had been the first boy, minus her brothers and Grover to actually care for her.
She could feel the chill settle into her bones, she couldn't fell her hands anymore
. But she refused to move, eventually Grover came out and passed her his rain jacket in exchange for her jacket for him to dry in the car.
She squinted her eyes at a shape in the distance, though she wasn't too sure, the rain not helping.
The girl gave a small prayer to her mother, praying that it was Percy. The shape got bigger and clearer as it got closer.
A smile graced her blue chapped lips as the shape made its way onto the sand and toward the car.
"And?" She whispered out to him, her voice coming out almost hoarsely.
The boy held out his hand out, showing five pearls. She took a hard look at them, and gingerly picked one up.
If they were pearls these were massive ones. "How this help?" She asked him.
"We go to the Underworld, find my mother, smash these and they'll take us back to the upper world."
She nodded her head, going to place it back gently on his palm. Percy jumped, nearly throwing the pearls.
Her hand were so cold, like she was dying almost, and now that he took a good look at her, her lips seemed blue in colour and she was soaking wet.
"God your cold. How long have you been sitting out here?" He asked her as he grabbed ahold of her hands wrapping his around them. He then pulled them up to his mouth and started blowing hot air onto them.
"I wait for you." She told him, making him shake his head.
"You should have gone into the car, at least you would have stayed dry. And your lips my god." He rambled on to her.
He suddenly pulled her into a hug, resting himself in between her legs, and pulled his flannel over her.
He thought maybe transfer of body heat could make her lips less blue, granted he was also soaking wet so he wasn't to sure how well it would work.
