Right now it's Friday and I'm in my math class. It's my last class of the day meaning after this is my date with Matt. I'm excited and nervous at the same time. Of course he's great but I know how stressed and angry he can get cuz of exams so I hope we'll still have a nice date. What am I saying? Of course it'll be fine.

The bell ring and I'm walking out of school. I'm looking for him in the parking lot but can't find it so I decided to sit on a bench and text him. After one or two minutes he responds saying that he's on his way and that he wanted to finish something for school before picking me up. I respond with "No worries, see you soon". To which he doesn't respond but I'm guessing he's driving.

After a few minutes later I see him walking up to mee. We hug and he gives me a kiss on cheek. Walking back back I say "Have you planned something or are we just chilling?" "I do have something planned, but it's a surprise." he responds. "Can I at least get a hint?" I ask to which he responds "No." He says with a smile on his face putting his hand around my waist. "Here ya go." Matt says giving me a helmet as he puts his own on again. Oh yeah I forgot to mention, he drives a motor. I get on the motor and we start driving. After about a 15 minute drive we stop at a cute Mexican restaurant.

After chatting and eating I get a message and see that Lizzie texted me.

It's pretty boring on set without you.

is Scarlett not on set?

That's great, yeah I'm good.
Scarlett is on set, but I still miss you sweetie.

awhh yeah I miss you too

What are you doing? It's Friday I'm sure you planned something.

yeah I'm on a date with Matt :))

I quickly put my phone away again to see Matt staring. "It's just Liz babe." I say with a soft smile. "about that..." Matt starts. Oh no. "I think you should quit." "What why I love my job?" I respond confused. "I feel like it's getting in between us." "What no we're fine right?" I say a little panicked. "Come on babe, you understand me right?" he says. "No I signed a contract, I can't just quit" "Just tell them it's some family stuff." he says. "No Matt, I'm not gonna lie to them.". He scoffs. "I'm going home, we're done eating and I paid already anyway." He says getting up and walking out of the restaurant. Fuck I drove here with him. It's like more than an hour walk and it's already getting darker. Fuck I really need to get going then.

The walk home was hell. I got catcalled like every 5 minutes. I just listened to The Neighbourhood trying to focus on the songs. Right now I'm at home baking some cookies for Lizzie. When I was walking home I walked last the Mall and got the ingredients. I am super grateful for her and want to thank her, hence the cookies. She told me she loves Chocolate Chip so that's what I'm making.

Time skip to the next morning.

Turning off my alarm I go get in the shower. I slept amazing last night because my parents are still gone so the house is quiet.

After my shower I only put some mascara and lipgloss on. The bruises are gone and I don't really like makeup so why should I do more.

Walking to set I start thinking about Matt. Maybe I should apologize? I decided to say "Hey Matt I'm sorry about yesterday, I hope you understand that I can't quit. Good luck with your studying." and just leave it at that.

Arriving at set I run op to Lizzie and give her a big hug. "Hey sweetie, I missed you." Lizzie says with a big smile. "Hey Liz, I missed you. I baked you something." I say grabbing the box I put them in and giving it to her. "Awh sweetheart, thank you." She says giving me a big hug. "You wanna come to my trailer? We're not needed on set for another 20 minutes. "Yeah sure, only if you want to of course?" "I wouldn't have offered honey" she says holding her hand out for me to take which I glady accept.

"So..How was the date?" Lizzie says with a soft smile as she pours 2 cups of tea. "I-uh yeah it was good." I answer but I know she knows there's more to it. "How was it on set?" "Yeah it was alright." Lizzie says "Hey I know it's short notice but would you like to join me and Robbie for dinner this evening, and maybe stay the night?" "I-uh are you sure?" "I wouldn't have offered honey." Lizzie says. "Yeah I'd love to." I say with a smile on my face. "That's great, d'you like lasagne?" "Yeah I love lasagne!" I respond and hug her. There is just something about her hugs that make me feel so safe and comfortable. "Let's head to hair and makeup yeah?" Lizzie says. "Yeah" I say holding onto her hand. Reality hits me. Oh my god I'm spending my weekend at Lizzie's.
