Why Cant I Feel Normal..

Hi,I'm max mayfeild,aka zoomer or madmax. But to el it's Maxie. And only el can call me that. El is a cute,youthful,enthusiastic, energetic girl. That's the prettiest girl I've ever seen. I thought I liked guys...in fact I thought I had to. I thought it was normal. I thought I was normal. But of course I wasn't. I am bi,I have ptsd (from Billy), and I have nightmares every night. Since Billy died things haven't been the same. The house is mostly quiet or empty and it's actually really boring to me. As much as I love silence it's just that the silence is too loud. Enough about me let's talk about el,my crush.

I loved el but she was...straight. She just broke up with Mike a few weeks ago though. I guess she just lost feelings? That's what she had told me. I don't know anymore..this..this girl I liked for so long had really put me under a spell. I started blushing at her way too much when she did tiny things like push her long,smooth chocolate hair behind her ear...it irritates me to say how much I love this girl...it's not normal to the world but it is to me. I told Lucas and the party I liked her,about everyone was happy for me except Mike..and when he burst out with intoxicating words at me,will started crying? That's so weird to me. But I guess it's fine.

2:45 pm
I grab the phone, ring el and she picks up instantly
"Hey el.."
"Yea max?"
"Do you mind if I come over? I'm kinda bored."
"Uhh...." A long pause before she said anything "uhhhh OF COURSE!! Are you kidding me!! You can always come over Maxie!"
"Thanks el, I appreciate it!"
"No problem Maxie!"
I blushed at the nick name..I can't believe I was falling for my best friend!
"Ok see you in 20!"
She hung up the phone

I started packing my things for Els and by the time I finished it was 3:00 pm I head out,grab my skateboard and skate off. I get there 3:20 just as I said. I knocked, she opened.

"MAXIE!!" She come to me and gave me a long tight hug.
"Hey el!"
"Maxie I missed you so muchhhhh"
"Ha I know I did too!"
"What now?" I said confidently
"Let's go to my room."
We linked arms as we walked in the room. Of course I had to be a freak and blushed awkwardly.
"Ok Maxie what now?" She said as she sat on her bed,I quickly followed.
"I don't really know.."
"Want to just talk about stuff with me?"
"Sure el.."
"Ok so I don't really have much going on..except Mike..but I don't want to talk about him."
"I don't really have anything either except me being a freak" I said that last part pretty quietly
But I think she heard.
"What do you mean?! You're not a freak Maxie.."
Of course she heard..UGH I'm such an idiot "uhhh don't worry el,it's nothing.."
They just sat there for a few minutes in silence..but max didn't mind.
Ughhh her deep,chocolate eyes are so pretty and awesome. I love her too much..
"I love you el.."
"I love you too Maxie"
OH GOD WHY DID I SAY THAT NO NO.. IM SUCH A FREAK!
"Max? Why are you so red? Are you sick?!"
"No..no I'm just red becauseeeee....ITS HOT IN HERE! Yea yea."
"But max..it's 45 degrees.."
Oh no...
"Why do you lie.."
"What?"
"Why do you lie max.."
"Uh I-I'm not lying el.."
"Max you know you can tell me anything.."
"El I..."
