The sacrifice

In this world, demons can take care of cities. This city is controlled by a demon named Elaine. Every month, she asks for a sacrifice. The demons need sacrifices, so they don't turn into an animal like thing. They look nothing like themselves. They can only walk on all fours. Their tongue becomes like a snake's tongue. They grow scales all over their body. Their horns grow long and curled. They need those sacrifices. Today was the day that someone would have to get sacrificed to Elaine. Lilly was that person. The reason that she is in trouble is that she had gotten groceries. She was about to walk out when someone yelled out at her. They said that she had forgotten to pay for something. So she was placed in the holding room." This time, tho was weird. Elaine has asked for a girl to be sacrificed. Lily was the only girl there. She was taken to the room where Elaine would appear. Lily sat down in a chair in the middle of the room. The concil who were summoning Elaine were in white robes. There was a weird symbol on the floor. Lily didn't know what it meant. After a moment , the symbol started to glow. The concil walked out and left her there in the room. After a bit, Elaine appeared. Elaine was all gray with gold lines. Had large bat wings. Horns that kind of looked swept back. All black eyes except for a yellow circle. She was a lest 8ft. She also had a long tail. Her hair was black with gold strands. When Lily saw Elaine, she started to cry. Elaine was used to the people crying. She decided to take a look at the girl. The girl had dirty blonde hair. Freckles all over her face and green eyes. She was wearing a brown dress that covered everything. Elaine walked over to the girl. She lifted her head up so she could see her face. When she did that, the girl said, " I don't want to die." And with that, they disappeared. When Lily opened her eyes, she saw that she was in a large house. It's a tow story house. And like Elaine, it was gray and gold. Elaine walked over to the couch and sat lily down. She started to untie her. When the ropes were untied, Elaine said, " There you go, cute thing." After the ropes were off, Lily's wrists were a little sore. Elaine got up and went over to the kitchen. She grabbed Lily a glass of water. Lily was wondering why she had called her that. And why was she still alive. She should be dead right now. When Elaine gave her the water, she said , "Drink up little thing." When she said that, she saw the girl blush. But Elaine realized that she didn't know the girls name. When she asked her, the girl said , "Ohh, my name is Lily." Ohh lily, what a cute name.
