[10] Hospital

Lorenzos POV

I'm going to see Lily alone tonight after all. She was really weird this morning, but she was under stress. But she was pale. I hope she is okay.

This morning, Lily swore to me that she wouldn't run off again today and that she'd wait for me.

But when I asked her if she was okay, she said she was. That's why I picked up those bloody red roses for getting through the day. I already love to spoil her. I'd also like her to sleep over in my room again, because I've never slept better in my life. But I understand she'll want her own room. Her own privacy.

As soon as I got to the cafe, I saw the ambulance. I knew right away something was wrong with Lily.

I ran into the cafeteria and I saw Lily on the floor with doctors all around her. Her colleague was standing next to her, shocked and crying. What in God's name happened to her? Is my Lily okay?

"What happened?" I asked the doctors. When I looked at her face. She's got black eye and a busted lip. What the hell happened to her?

"We suspect undernutrition, but there's more to come. She's also been beaten up badly and has a probably fractured rib. She's probably passed out from starvation, but it could also be general exhaustion. We'll see what the results say. She should be okay." One doctor responded. Then Lily opened her eyes a little bit and quickly looked into my eyes and gently smiled at me. At other times I would have fallen to my knees for her, but now I'm afraid something serious might happen to her.

Don't tell me her family starved her. Or maybe it's that they're telling her not to eat and she's not eating. I'll kill them. And who beat her up like that? She wasn't home, was she?

"What hospital are you taking her to?" I asked them. I'll go right to them.

"The nearest one. We need to get her food as soon as possible."

The nearest one is Thomaer's.

As soon as the ambulance started, I went to them.

The drive was short, but long enough to make me more and more worried about Lily. We got to the hospital and they took Lily somewhere.

"Sir you can't go there. We will tell you when u can see her." She said, and she rowed Lily to the doctor's office.

What am I gonna do? I'm worried about Lily. What if something happens to her?

----- 1 hour later -----

"Sir, shes okay now, you can see her if u want." Said the nurse and led me to her.

That hour was probably the longest hour in my life.

As soon as I entered the room, I saw Lily smiling gently at me.

"Lily, are you okay?" I asked her and sat down on the chair next to her bed.

"Yes, im fine. But my family will probably come here and they cant see you here. They will kill me." She said.

"Are they the reason why this happened?" I asked her. She is going to live with me. Im not letting her go ever again.

Lily was quiet for a while, but after a moment she nodded her head. They are dead. "Little Flower, tell me what they did to you. You weren't home today, were you?" I gently asked her and started playing with her hair.

Tears welled up in Lily's eyes. I can't look at her like that. I took her small hand in my huge one, letting her know I was there for her.

"Lorenzo, you have to go. If my family comes and sees you here, they'll kill me." Lily said to me.
