It's already 4am and I'm up, of course. Normally I'd be at the gym by now, but I'm still lying here with Lily today. I have to enjoy it as much as possible.
Lily is so tiny compared to me, I can't believe it. She literally fits to my body.
----- 2 hours later -----
Lily started moving and stretching. She's waking up.
"Good morning." I heard Lily say in her sleepy voice. I love that voice.
"Good morning little Flower." I answered her.
"I need to go home."
"You need to eat first, but you're not going home."
"No, no, no. I need to go to work right now." Lily got off the bed and started getting dressed.
"Lily, but promise me, that you will eat..." I'm afraid she won't eat anything.
"I will eat at work, because I was already supposed to be at work. I promise." Lily explained.
That's why I got up and got dressed.
"Are you sure you want to go to work? You don't look very healthy."
"I'm fine. Really. But thanks for asking."
Lily and I got in the car and I drove her to work.
"Lily, promise me you'll wait here for me today. And I'll drive you back to my place and you'll have your own room and everything. But we'll talk about that later, okay?" I tried to convince her to give me a chance.
"I promise, really." She pulled out her pinky and we linked them together. I've never made a promise like that to anyone in my life.
"Thank you so much for everything Lorenzo, but I have to go. Bye!" Lily said quickly and ran to the cafe.
But I'll definitely see Lily again today, I'm sure of it.
Delilahs POV
Im fucked. They will probably kill me. Why did I stay with Lorenzo so long last night?
Probably because I felt really safe with him.
But still.
I'm home and I'm in my room. But I haven't been here alone in a long time. I had to run home from work for a while. Although Lorenzo provided me with clothes, very comfortable, but no one at home is allowed to see these clothes. They'll kill me.
"YOU BITCH! WHERE WERE YOU YESTERDAY?! YOU WERE AT LORENZO'S, WEREN'T YOU?! YOU'RE SUCH A BITCH!" Ashley and Britney both started yelling at me. Their mom was right behind them.
"HUH? WHERE WERE YOU YESTERDAY?" She asked me.
They grabbed my hair and started pulling it. I just screamed. Then I was kicked and kicked and I was punched in the face and in the chin.
When they stopped and left, I felt relieved. But now I have no time for pain. That's why I got up, somehow changed my clothes, and now I have to go to work. I honestly can't even walk, my ribs hurt so bad. It literally hurts to breathe, not to mention how my eye is swollen and my lip is bleeding. I'm definitely going to be black eye on my left eye.
When I got to work, Ava noticed me right away. She gave me a very concerned look. I guess the makeup didn't cover it up enough.
"What happened to you Lily?" She asked me carefully.
"Im fine. They just got on my nerves, but I'm really fine." I tried to reassure her.
"Are you sure you can make it today? Should I call someone else?" She asked me rather uncertainly.
"I'm totally fine, I can handle it." I made it to the back and changed into my work clothes.
I arrived at the shop and went straight behind the counter.
Now I just have to get through the day.
----- 5 hours later -----
I'm starting to feel really bad. Not only does my whole body hurt, but my head and stomach are starting to hurt like crazy. And I'm having a hard time breathing. I literally feel like I'm going to pass out any minute.
I wonder if I'll even make it through today.
Avas POV
Lily is so pale today. She must have been beaten up again at home. I feel so sorry for her for what she's going through.
I went to the back of the store to get some coffee beans and milk when I heard a terrible thump. I ran into the store and saw a couple of customers and Lily on the floor. Oh, my God.
"We called the ambulance." A customer told me. I immediately sat down next to Lily and checked to see if she was breathing. She's breathing.
The paramedics arrived less than a minute later, so I stepped away so I wouldn't interfere with their efforts to examine Lily. I just looked at them with tears in my eyes.
Oh Lily, the nicest person I know, and this is happening to her.
