Chapter 6 // Theo Raeken

Theo was beeing so cute to me after I came to about 3 or 4 of his rugby games to cheer for him. 

Theo was constantly flirting and continued inviting me to rugby-games or just opening the school doors for me, when my arms were full of books.

I mean, I was grateful for that, but it was kinda annoying, that he thought of himself of the 'guy everyone want's'.

But what can you say? It is true. I had to admitt that he is hot, no doubt, and the girls ran after him like he is some kind of superstar, but his arrogance was kinda pissing me off after a month.

And after he asked me over to his in February for dinner, he started to call me 'his girl' in school.

Even tho I had to admitt that my new look with the contacts and the wig was pretty beautiful, I still didn't understand why he would fall for such an obvious trap.

But we started to spent more time together and grew to pretty close friends.

By the time I spent more time with him, I managed to only do school things every two days so the days between I often spent at Theo's or we would drive into the city.

I learned from him, that in the state I lived, there was also a outback.

Excitedly like always, because I've never been to anything more outback like, than a two week camping in Greece my dad took me, a month after the divorce.

With the feeling, that with Theo, it would be way different than anything I had ever done, I said goodbye to Dean and Sam for the night, dressed properly in cargo pants and jacked.

And my feeling turned out to be right.

Theo picked me up at 5p.m. as agreed two days before.

But he brought two friends of his. A girl and a boy. Tracy and Josh, how he introduced.

The mood in the car was relaxed.

Everyone had a exhausting week behind them and was happy to finally get some rest.

I quickly fell asleep on the passenger seat next to Theo.

Only when he woke me up by nudging my shoulder softly, I shot awake, first not remembering why I am in an unfamiliar car, but as I heard Theo's voice, I instantly calmed down. 

"Ya ok babygirl?" A thin layer of concern was audible in Theo's voice.

"Mhm"

Theo had parked the car on a hill somewhere in nowhere. The few was incredible. There were trees of all kinds, huge, green meadows and every now and than you could see brids fly through the air or hear a predator chasing his prey. 

It was quite impressive, how much outback there was in Missouri.

Tracy and Josh had already gone somewhere to probably smooch. Even in the car, they couldn't keep their hands to theirselfs.

Theo on the other hand, got a blanked out of the trunk of his dark Dodge Charger and spread out the blanket.

We both sat there, stargazing and talking for hours.

This was truly one of the best nights I ever had, with Theo.
