After a two hour road trip, we reached the house Sam and Dean rented in Phoenix for the time from early October till shortly after my birthday in December.
Following months were the best I ever had.
Dean and Sam were a great family, they let me do almost everything I wanted, because they knew that I was rather the socially awkward person and don't like people that much.
We would be all fully busy on weekdays with school or jobs, they got real jobs instead of killing supernaturals!, and Saturday I was mostly out, training in the gun shooting range not that far away to get more familiar with firearms, but on Sunday, we all stayed in as often as possible and spent the whole day together. Either chilling, laying around, watching movies or going somewhere.
Last weekend we made a little roadtrip to the beach and spent the whole day there till sun was setting. For our luck, in Phoenix the weather was summery warm, even in December.
But this weekend, Dean had something special planned. It was one weekend after my birthday, as on Saturday morning, when I was getting ready to go to the shooting range where I also found some people that were close to friends, because we had all similar interests, I heard the doorbell ring.
"I'm gonna take it!" I shouted through the house and ran down the stairs from my room to the front door, in very short jeans and a wide sleeveless shirt.
I opened the door, expecting the mail man or some neighbors again, but who I saw took my breath.
"OMG BABSI!!"
Tears of happyness started to gather in the corners of my eyes.
I jumped forward and hugged her tightly.
"What are you doing here?"
"You think I''me gonna miss my besties birthday?" Babsi's english had still a few broken points, but it was extremely cool that she was finally here in America.
We went up to my room for about half an hour and talked about everything that happened in the last few months were we couldn't see each other.
Than I grabbed a spare helmet that usually Sam used if I should take him anywhere with the Harley and pulled babsi outside to the motorcycle.
She was utterly stunned, but after the first shock, she grabbed the helmet, smiling, and got onto my bike behind me.
We drove to the shooting range where I was supposed to meet up with a few new friends of mine over half an hour ago.
As I finally entered, with my sunglasses put on again, loud shoutings of my name greeted me.
"Hey gurl" Jake said while hugging me tightly. "Thought you wouldn't come anymore today"
"Ahhh I would never miss a meeting in the shooting range! But I had some suprise guest! Meet my bestie freshly flown in from europe: Babsi!"
Babsi, who was rather the shy type, just like me before I met those cool people, smiled and went to hold her hand out for a greeting, but Jake didn't hesitate to pull her in by her hand and hug her too.
The others, about six more people, followed his moves in sync.
