Chapter 20 // Sacrifice and Possession

"No" Dean shouted and at the same time I shouted "Yes". 

Dean turned in a split second and scowled at me. "No" He hissed. "I can't risk loosing you too. You hear me?" He turned back to the demon "You will not possess her. If you possess anyone, than me"

But the attention of the demon was now drawn to me. He didn't even listen to Dean in the slightest. 

I stood up, shaking and walked a few steps forward. 

Dean grabbed my arm with a iron hard grip. "No, please" He tried again. "I lost Sam. I can't lose you too" 

"If I do it, you'll get Sam back." 

Dean looked at me in disbelief. 

"Sometimes you have to let loved ones go. And I love you Dean. And I love Sam. You were one of the best things that ever happened to me. Tell that Sam when he wakes up. And yourself every morning" 

I smiled sadly at Dean and he pulled me into a hug. 

After a few seconds of giving in and hugging him back even stronger, I pulled away. 

I hated long and hurtful goodbyes. 

One last look in Sams dead eyes and Deans worried ones and I turned my attention completely to the demon. 

"Are you ready, girl?" The demon asked with his phantomvoice. 

I just nodded while looking around. 

The underground of a cemetery. There were definitely better places to die than there. 

I assumed I would never see the light of the day or anything again, because the demon would possess me till I would die. 

Klaus looked me shocked into the eyes as I smiled sadly at him and with a head motion, I asked him to watch over Dean and Sam when I was gone. 

Klaus nodded and tried a sad smile. He couldn't believe how much it touched him, that a girl he barely knew before that night, wanted to sacrifice herself for her cousin. He swore to himself, that he would always watch over Dean and Sam and maybe make them forget, what they knew about everything. 

As if I guessed his thoughts, I shook my head. No. They should not forget anything or me. 

Klaus understood and watched, as the girl faced one of her biggest fears. To get possessed by a demon. 

The demon laughed smugly and dove in her direction. 

And the shadow dissapeared in her body. As if sucked up. Klaus speeded to the girl, catching her in time, before her head hit the har concrete.

In exactly this second, Sam opened his eyes and gasped for air. 

Dean hugged Sam tightly and cried into Sams shoulder. 

After only twenty seconds, Sam was filled in on what happened to him and his little cousin. 

Sam had tears in his eyes also and both Winchesters squated down next to Klaus, who still hold me, and waited for anything to happen. 

Then there it was.  The eyes of the girl flew open and they were completely black.
