The chosen members of the dance unit stood in a line, shoulder to shoulder. As they waited for their coaches and dance instructors to give instructions.
The vocal group was somewhere else, most likely the recording studio.
The dance coaches explained what the entire performance would basically consist and look like. Each member from LaLuz would be paired up with a member of Enhypen.
"Alright, so once we pair everyone up we can begin." One of the coaches clapped their hands as they spoke.
The dance instructors talked amongst themselves quietly as they discussed what the pairs would be. Only taking a few minutes to decide.
The group of six idols waited in silence until the coaches made their final decisions.
"Okay so the first pair is going to be Eunseo and Jake" One of them started.
They both gave each other a short glance with a small smile before looking back to the coach.
"Alright then we have Niki and Minju" They looked down at the clipboard in hand, "and finally, Yuki and Jungwon."
Eunseo could see the excitement in both the younger teens faces as they were paired together. Trying not to make it too obvious as they both suppressed a smile.
She almost wanted to laugh at how cute they were.
Though she felt an insane amount of relief knowing that she didn't have to even interact with Jungwon for the remainder of the day.
Seeing as each pair was assigned a coach to focus solely on them. And because the part of the choreo that they'd be learning today didn't require all members but just their partners.
Everything was going smoothly from what Eunseo could tell. And in fact she was honestly enjoying this whole new collaboration project.
Jake was easy to work with. They got along great, and well, to put it in simple terms, he wasn't a pain in her ass. So that was always a positive.
So maybe this whole thing isn't as bad as she thought it was going to be.
Around two hours into their practice, the coaches decided to do a small evaluation. Just to check in on the progress of the idols.
They sat down, recording down their feedback as each pair individually went up to showcase what they had learned so far.
Eunseo and Jake went second, actually feeling pretty confident in how they did. Obviously they had things that they needed to fix, since they had just started learning the dance only a few hours ago.
Things weren't perfect but they were doing good for the time given.
Or so thats what they thought.
"Mm," One of the coaches sitting in the far left chair of the two others began to speak once everyone had finished their evaluation.
