Jungwon and Eunseo ran through the choreo for their coach as she watched them carefully. Their members were doing the exact same thing just in different areas of the practice room.
Eunseo was counting along the steps in her head as her coach repeated them out loud.
Once the two of them finished the first part they quickly moved away from each other, waiting for feedback.
"That was better! Jungwon I really liked what you did with your hand on the last step. It looked very precise." She complimented him.
He had a small proud smile plastered on his face, clearly enjoying the praise.
"Eunseo, when you're turning around make sure that you place your right foot out more, okay?" She advised.
Eunseo muttered a small yes to her comment.
She couldn't help but stare at Jungwon as he and their coach talked about their progress. A tinge of jealousy she felt towards him as this whole day he was getting nothing but showered in applause.
The girl felt as if everything she was doing was off for some reason and she didn't know why.
Why was he doing better than me? Why does he get the compliments? I'm doing everything im being told, why is it still not good enough?
Those questions were being repeated in a continuous cycle.
The more they practiced the more she was determined to outdo Jungwon in at least one thing.
Maybe just to prove something to herself.
They took multiple breaks in-between their practice, just to make sure that the idols weren't being completely worked.
Given a quick break, Eunseo was trying her best to regain her breath. She was feeling a bit of a headache seep through.
She rolled up the sleeves of her hoodie, as she panted lightly.
Jungwon, having noticed the girl was slightly out of breath, came to check on her.
"Hey, you good?" He was in a seemingly good mood today. But as mentioned, it was no surprise since all he had heard from his instructor was all good things.
"Yes." She responded, her tone fitting one of a cold and short one.
"Are you not hot in that?" He pointed to her navy blue sweater.
"No."
"Are you sure you're goo-"
"Whats with all the questions?" She spoke, now feeling irritated by him. Even more so than before.
Before he could even respond, she had already walked away. Back to their coach, indicating she was ready to start the next section.
Jungwon still felt slightly surprised at her sudden harsh tone but thought nothing of it since she always acted this way towards him.
