Lucius POV

Guild, Babel Tower.

...

...

After leaving that room, I headed straight to the guild's exit. All the groups had split up after I was called in for a 'testimony,' as it just happened; everyone went in opposite directions. Bell and Lili returned to the church accompanied by Riekling, so I went in that direction.
After finally arriving at the location, I went straight to my bed, wanting to rest for a few more hours, not caring that the sun was still in the middle of the sky.
When I woke up, I noticed I was alone in the place with Riekling. Hestia and the others had gone to Mama Mia's Hostess of Fertility to drink and celebrate. No one invited me because I was resting, and I personally asked Riekling to prevent anyone from disturbing my sleep, but I wouldn't have gone anyway; I have other plans.
I wrote a note saying I would go back to the dungeon again and spend some time adapting to level two. I grabbed some valis bags from under the bed, as I didn't want to wait until the next day to buy materials. Since it was night, there were no open places that met my demands. Even if I would spend more in Rivira, I had a lot of money saved in the last month.
So, I left the church ready to go back to the dungeon again. I wouldn't like to stay in Orario for the next few days either. It would be good to train my magic to get their rewards and acquire more points and new spells in the meantime.
Passing through the dungeon hall, I received some looks that recognized the 'Adventurer with the support goblin' and now known as the 'Adventurer who destroyed part of the eighteenth floor.' Ignoring the glances, I dove into the dungeon.
It was only after 8 hours, running through the floors with Riekling, that we reached Rivira again. The first thing I did, aside from ignoring the looks I received when I arrived in the city, as I am more famous here than in Orario, was to go straight to some supply stores.
"Hey, young man!" As I walked, I heard a voice calling me, causing me to turn to the source of the voice. It surprised me that it was the man who owned that inn I destroyed.
"Hello?" I said curiously, wanting to know what he wanted with me now.
"Thank you for helping with that monster," he finally said.
I nodded. Besides the adventurers who wanted to teach Bell a lesson, many people left the city and joined the fight against the hordes of monsters beyond the Mutant Goliaths. Of course, this man knew that I knocked down one of those black titans alone while everyone else was focused on the first.
After bidding farewell, I restocked my supplies in the city, still under the gaze of the people. But I thought it was better than dealing with those eyes than those on the surface, so I chose to pay more here in Rivira as another reason to come here.
After putting everything in Riekling's bag, which is the main reason people know me because no one says, 'Look there, the adventurer with a star drawn on his forehead.' Everyone knows me as 'The adventurer who walks with a tamed goblin as his support, the only one in Orario.' I couldn't blame people for thinking that way; Riekling is unique.
After finally escaping people's attention, I found a place on the floor and practiced my spells without fighting on the lower floors. If I wanted to replenish my supplies with more money, I could simply go down to the eighteenth floor and get more magic stones after depleting my stocks in the next few days."

"While preparing for the next few days, setting up a new camp further away from Rivira or the place where the Loki family settled, I was thinking about Riviera's proposal for arcane arts lessons. She mentioned that I could go to the Twilight Mansion to seek her guidance, but I hit the 'screw it' button on that.

I need to get stronger before the War Game; I realized I can't wait for things to happen according to my canonical knowledge. I trusted that, and we almost died when a second Black Goliath appeared a few days ago in this location, I said, looking at the huge crystal in the distance that was embedded in the ground like a monument, thanks to me.
