TW: Cussing, weird behavior— could be taken as homophobia honestly, and arguments/shouting?
Pretty sure that's all!! Bit shorter then I wanted but— oh well!

Words: 807
3rd person POV:
Cierra hummed as she waited for the rest of the study group. Meg, (her best friend), and herself put one together for statistics. Hands down the hardest class Cierra ever taken in Uni and she was in her third year! The study group was for the upcoming midterm they had before the holidays. So, it was important they all did well on it.

People start to trickle in through the Café door, but one person in particular catches her eye. He was tall and bulky; his build so perfect. God! How badly she wanted to squeeze his arms and run her own hands through his strawberry blonde hair; and it almost looked red when the light hit it. His eyes were dark brown.. but what irked her in specific was the shorter person next to him.

Like, c'mon, it was so obvious that he was head over heels and in love with the burly dude. As the two sat down in the booth, taking the corner as their own, Cierra felt her frustration quickly rise. Cierra slowly twirls her hair around her finger as she starts conversation with him, "Soo, what's your name?" She tried to flirt, missing the crestfallen expression on the dark haired male's face.

He looks taken aback, "I'm Nick! Nick Nelson," He introduces, waving. Cierra slowly make an 'o' face in realization, "Ohh! That Nick! The Rugby King?" She asks with a cutesy giggle, raising an eyebrow and fluttering her mascara coated lashes; Nick flushes, ".. Uh, yeah, that Nick." He waves a hand in dismissal. "Nick! Seriously, give yourself some credit," The dark haired teased.

"Charlie, it's not that much of deal." Ah. So lover boys name is Charlie. Nick snickers, ruffling Charlie's hair. How Cierra wished it was her very own blonde hair! And don't hate, he's so cute. Charlie snorts in reply and the two go back and forth, banter some may say and Cierra try to interject into the conversation.. only to be interrupted or straight up ignored.

And she couldn't take it! It was so obvious that Charlie loved Nick and was jealous of her. Who wouldn't be?!

"God! You need to seriously lay off! Some of us are trying to flirt and your jealousy is in the way!" The blonde spits, points an accusing finger at Charlie.

Immediately Nick stands up in anger, and she knew he was on her side. Or— Cierra thought she knew? She assumed when he uttered, "How dare you?" She'd look and see him staring his best friend down, but instead had found that SHE was the then target of his anger.

Charlie was trying to blink back tears, his baby blue eyes glassed over. "I—I'm sorry—" He stammered, pressing himself farther into the corner. Nick's glare only hardened, hellfire in his eyes.

He opens his mouth as if to say something, closes it and shakes his head, "Cmon, Char, we can find somewhere else to study. Maybe the library?" Nick suggests as Charlie nods, "Uh— yeah.."

The blonde uni girl blinks, utterly dumbfounded, "You're taking his side?! But he's obviously obsessed with you?!" Nick takes a step back in surprise, "Well I sure hope he's obsessed, seeing as.. we've been together five years?" He spits as he grabs his bag that Charlie held out for him.

Yeah. Cierra is very much.. absolutely gobsmacked, her bottom teeth touching her toes. Charlie giggles quietly when Nick grabs his hand, "I'm sure she didn't mean to be mean.." He assures Nick. The fire returns to Nick's eyes.

"Charlie! Seriously you can't excuse everyone's mistakes, especially when they're mean to you."

The curly headed boy's face drops, "Um.. right, sorry, Nick." With the way he curled up into himself, he missed the way that Nick's face flashed with literal pain. Like he had been stabbed when Charlie apologized when he, HIMSELF, was the one who yelled.

"Fuck— let's go, Char."

"Nick seriously, we need to study."

"We can get tea and leave."

And that was honestly all it took for Charlie to drop his wall of, 'WE MUST STUDY.' The pair intertwined hands and it just fit so perfectly. Like the universe had specifically crafted their hands to be clasped in the others.

Well, then in that moment, their hands were one hundred percent clasped together and— now their lips were as well. The two uni boys stumbled over to the line, detaching to order their teas. Yeah.. those two were head over fucking heels for one another.

Then, it hit her. She turned back to the group with a guilty expression. Now she knew, she would be dealing with the consequences of her damned actions. Her terrible, horrible, selfish, needy ridden actions. Yikes.
