Followers of Arcahn

Prologue

Hundreds of years ago there was a great meteor shower. The falling stars were nearly brighter than the moon itself. But this meteor shower was different than ones from the past. This meteor shower created a cluster of the different meteors. This cluster of meteors then smoothed out and fused together. Creating a second moon right next to the first moon. Though after the second moon was formed the first one remained in a permanent crescent while the second permanently remained full. Over time people everywhere started calling the second moon Arcahn. Nobody knew why nor how but they knew that 'Arcahn' meant 'goddess'. Nobody knew what language it was. All they knew is that the name of their second moon meant 'goddess' and that is how much they respected Arcahn. Little did they know that Arcahn would bring something terrifying but amazing.

Years after Arcahn formed something happened. Arcahn's light shown brightly on the Earth and created something. Arcahn had created a new phenomenon called arcanum. Arcanum became a magical force that caused natural life to prosper and even created creatures of myth. Such as dragons, unicorns, and fairies but sadly these amazing creatures stayed far away from humans. But arcanum didn't just effect nature. It effected humanity as well. Arcanum had created a new breed of humans. Called arcana-borns. These arcana-borns were blessed with the ability to channel arcanum. Unfortunately the early arcana-borns had no way to control the arcanum inside them. Which resulted in what was known as the Arcanum Scares. But these scares were quickly quelled when eight legendary arcana-borns discovered special crystals that bonded with them and turned into wands disguised as different objects. These wands allowed them to channel their arcanum safely and efficiently. With the discovery of wands came the acceptance of arcana-borns by society.

Once arcana-borns were finally accepted by society there came an organization of arcana-borns dedicated to keeping the peace between the arcana-borns and earth-borns. The Followers of Arcahn. But not everyone was happy with the arcana-born viewing them as unnatural. These people formed the organization called the Offenders of Arcahn. The Offenders held rallies among themselves preaching about how the arcana-borns weren't even human and instead creatures created by arcanum and Arcahn. Throughout the years the Followers and Offenders have been locked in an eternal bloody struggle. The Offenders with their hatred and the Followers with their persistence. But is that persistence enough? Who knows? But let's hope the modern day's generation of arcana-borns have what it takes to protect the world.
