PERCY
"You're gonna love this." Luke remarked. "Camp-wide mock warfare." The two walked to the training grounds where campers were getting ready for capture the flag.
"All glory to the victors. Annabeth's the head counselor of the Athena cabin." Luke continued as they saw Annabeth stare at them.
"She's led our team to three straight wins, Been a long time since anyone's won a fourth."
"She was there in the bathroom, with Amelia. She said she's been waiting for it to happen." Percy interrupted.
"Annabeth sees the world differently. Always six steps ahead of everyone else." The older boy explained.
"What about Amelia? What's her deal?" Percy gaze went to Amelia as she shot some arrows at a target.
"Amelia came to camp when she was ten. She has a big mouth but a heart twice as big to make up for it." Luke said. "Amelia was also one of those cases where she was claimed immediately. Apollo claimed her so dramatically, it's not that hard to believe they were related."
Percy furrowed his brows as he thought about what Luke said.
"Whose side are you on, anyway?" Percy finally said.
"Oh, Annabeth's, always." Luke replied, walking over to Amelia.
"She's my little sister." Percy looked at him weirdly. Amelia smiled as she saw them approach her.
Luke told the story about what happened before he arrived at camp. The monsters, the pact, the prophecy. Luke's face morphed into disgust as he mentioned the gods. Something not going unnoticed by Amelia.
Suddenly a conch shell was blown, signalling the start of capture the flag.

AMELIA
"Let her rip." Luke said as Percy uncapped his pen.
Amelia sent a wink to Percy as she set off.
The forest was a danger to most people, monsters and death lingered through it. But to Amelia? It was peaceful, the only place where she can sit and breath.
Unfortunately, that seemed to change when the new blonde kid arrived to camp.
She heard a yelp as she walked through the forest, along with some crackling.
"Are you feeling up to that yet?" Clarisse's malicious voice reached Amelia's ears. She kept herself hidden, knowing full well Annabeth would be on her ass if she stepped in to help. But she still kept her hand on her sword. Something she wasn't so comfortable with, but what good can a bow and arrow do if you were in such close proximity?
The Ares kids chased Percy to the ocean, something they'll regret soon after.
It was impressive, watching how Percy fought. Even if he was scared out of his mind.
Amelia heard the crunch of branches and looked to her left, nothing. But she knew Annabeth was there.
A blood shrilling scream was heard and the brunette quickly whipped her head towards the noise.
Clarisse fell to her knees, the broken spear left laying on the ground.
To the opposite of the fight, or what was left of it, cheers were heard. Luke carrying the flag, victoriously in the air.
Annabeth took off her cap, motioning Amelia to follow her.
"Not bad, hero." Annabeth helped Percy up.
"Were you here the whole time?" He grunted.
"No, but she was." Motioning to Amelia.
Percy glared at Amelia. Seriously, what was his problem?
"You were here the whole time and you didn't help me?"
"Rather you dead than me." Amelia shot her hands up in defense.
"Listen, Percy." Annabeth interrupted.
"I'm sorry." She gave a nod to the girl beside her. Amelia shoved him into the water, a small smile etched onto her face.
"What is wrong with you?!" Percy panted as he stood up.
Amelia looked up, Percy following her gaze. A green trident, the symbol of Poseidon.
"I-i don't understand." Percy said, dumfounded.
"Your dad's calling."
