AMELIA

"Still crazy I was right." The brunette said as she walked beside Annabeth. Chiron selected candidates for Percy's quest and both of the girls were chosen.

"It's like you have the oracle inside you or something." Annabeth replied, shaking her head in amusement.

The two arrived in the gathering place, there stood Percy, in all of his stupid glory. He seemed confused, like he always was.

"Settle down! Settle down, campers." Chiron's booming voice shut the campers up. He stood behind Percy, giving him an encouraging nod. Chiron then started on about the quest.

"I have selected our most compelling candidates, from which you will choose two to join you on this quest and ensure that we succeed." The centaur said.

"Annabeth!" The blond blurted out. Chiron looked at him flabbergasted that he picked so fast.

"Are you sure you don't want to hear more?" Chiron asked. Percy shook his head.

"Okay, who shall be your second choice?"

"Amelia." He said bluntly, making eye contact with the girl. She still seemed oddly familar.

"Oh and Grover." He broke the eye contact to look at Chiron.

"But only three shall go on the quest."

"Well I don't give a dam about whatever rule that is but I'm bringing them and if you won't let me, then I'll just won't go." Percy told the centaur. Amelia looked at him in shock, not expecting him to stand up to Chiron.

Chiron sighed as he nodded. "It has been decided!" He bellowed.
