Chapter 4

OK, So this chapter is a bit crap so sorry but yeah I've sort of got writers block and can’t think of the good details sorry. Hope this is ok though

Tala’s POV

I was dragged through this new school with eyes watching me everywhere I went the men holding me knew I was agitated but decided to make it even worse and take me the long way around to get everyone to look at me. Once we finally got to the principal’s office, Mr Hunter, my guards where still holding onto me I tried to pull away but they wouldn’t let go, I was sick of it by then I yanked my arm along with the guard on it and threw him into the wall. I heard a sickening crunch and smiled to myself all the guards immediately surrounded the principal making sure I wouldn’t hurt him. So I took my opportunity to sit I placed myself on a black leather couch and took in my surroundings.

The walls where all greyish colour and the furniture black and white dull and boring but very modern, I hated these sort of looks, I noticed the room was soundproof when I could hear noises but muffled a little bit being such a strong wolf my hearing was heightened even more than most. Mr Hunter looked at me as if sizing me up, honestly I was very skinny for what I should have been. Being mistreated and starved your whole life does that to you.

“So Tala…..I see your very strong especially compared to the reports I have on you….” He began shuffling through some papers on his desk trying to find one of the many reports he probably had on me. No one really knew my full strength or powers I had never needed to be as strong as possible I could beat most fully grown men with half my strength. He grabbed a few and held them out to me I looked at them with disgust not needing to see what they said. “Tala shows extreme strength but it is unknown how strong she really is” “Tala’s abilities change for different situations” “She shows no true talent other than the ability to lift heavy things” at that I grabbed the couch leaning forward a little I could feel the leather ripping under my palms my feet pressing to the floor the boards starting to creak. “Her abilities are simply from her alpha blood, nothing special” The leather tore under my hands “She is NOT worthy to be called an Alphas child” The floor snapped under my feet I jumped up and caught the ceiling and jumped on top of the desk Mr Hunter was sitting at. He looked up at me with both astonishment and fear. I looked down at him his hands quivering in fear the paper rattling in his hand.

I grabbed the piece of paper he was reading and ripped it to shreds and throwing the confetti over his face. “Do not push me, Mr Hunter you may have a small amount of power over me but I do not care to test that power that is so nicely seen to be from my Alpha blood” I jumped off the table and was planning to storm out when I got to the door and grabbed the handle it burnt my hand. I smelt silver lining the handle. “You bastard your locking me into your office” He stood up and came over to me. “you my dear need to control your emotions…..you have to promise me that you will not hurt any of the other students…Even in fighting practise do not hurt them as much as I know you can…..please Tala…….” I stalked back to the leather couch and sat down at the other end with a humph.

We talked for another hour until he called the school to a meeting, when he grabbed my arm I automatically flinched back from him I knew I shouldn’t but it was a reflex, from years of assault it was a habit. After a few questions from students I was directed to my new room by Jess, she was my year a little shorter than me she has luscious blonde-brown hair down to her shoulders and had gorgeous deep green eyes, and Mackenzie she had rusty brown hair with a twinge of red, and almost black eyes.

It was a nice room but pretty basic, a big four posted bed, to the right were two doors one led to a simple black and white ensuite there was a door through the ensuite to the walk in wardrobe it was completely empty and my small amount of clothes wouldn’t do much difference. I looked around the room and saw that my clothes had already been delivered one bag for all my possessions in the world pretty sad isn’t it.

Mackenzie smirked at me trying to hide it with a slight cough. Jess looked at me confused as if she couldn’t believe that I had that little clothing. “You know if you want I can go shopping and buy you some clothes” Jess smiled at me “yeah that would be great” I said to her half-heartedly. They left me after a while. Mr Hunter walked in a few minutes later “So Tala…..tomorrow will be your first day and because you weren’t here for the start of the year when we did grading you will be doing your first tests tomorrow, this is everyone’s third testing….” He paused looking up to me then back to the floor “right now everyone is at their strongest so you will have a little competition” I smiled at that. I was taken down to room that was obviously the kitchen, plates of food where laid along a table, I grabbed a slice of pizza and went back to my room.

After finishing my pizza I stripped down to my underwear and opened my window, my guards had left a while ago so I was free for a run. I opened the window as wide as possible and stepped back a few meters I ran at the window and slid through. Phasing mid-air landing after the three floor drop, as soon as I hit the ground I started to run, air running through my coat the moon shining on my fur.

When I finally finished running I was back near the school, a grey wolf stood at the edge of the forest watching me, evaluating me, I knew it was Mr Hunter, I snarled at him showing him my teeth. I bent down to the ground and jumped up phasing just before I hit the window sill I phased changing back to human, I grabbed the bottom of the window, pulling myself inside my room.

I went to the bathroom jumping into the glass shower the warm water cascading over my sweaty body; I let the water fall over my face drenching my hair. I stepped out of the shower grabbing a soft black towel patting myself dry; a single water droplet fell from my hair running down over my nose, over my lips, down my chin, slowly creeping its way, from my head to my toes.

I walked through to my wardrobe and grabbed a sports bra and a pair of tracksuit shorts and got into my bed the soft mattress compressing under my weight. I dreamed of home back waking up to the white capped mountains, stars still out from the night before, cold icicles touching my bare skin, freezing metal stabbing through my stomach, the slap of a whip on my back, war, blood spewing from my stomach and back…. The black silhouette moving in front of me moving his hands to the hood of his cloak just about to remove it to reveal his face……

I awoke with a start sweat dripping off me the dream had come back. Oh Crap
