Ok guys I am so sorry I haven’t updated in ages I’ve had soooooo many assignments and assessments and I was planning on writing over Easter break but I didn’t have any time I and to babysit my cousins I promise the action will start like maybe next chapter this one is leading up and giving hints to the next chapter so you might want to pay attention…

I couldn’t get back to sleep after my dream so I jumped from the window and went for a run, running always calmed me down something about the feeling of air rushing past your face. Once I got back still no one was up I went upstairs for a quick shower, when I got out I put on a pair of black shorts and a loose pink tank top. The noises started downstairs so I made my way down, each step brought me closer to the judging eyes that I hated to no end. I could feel them staring into the back of my head the burning hot glare from them. I grabbed a plate and got some toast, Jess came to sit next to me we talked casually about nothing in particular, she was talking about clothes when I was hit with a deep musky scent.

“Tala…TALA… Earth to Tala!!” she said waving her hand in front of my face. I looked over to her she had a questioning look on her face. “what….?” I answered her a bit out of it “How about today we can go shopping and we can get you all the clothes you need….yay girls day” I looked at her scared of what might happen if I go with her she’d probably take me into every store. “ummmm….i’ve got to do all the tests today you can go and get me anything you’d think I’ll like….i’m a size 10” she looked at me like I was an alien because I didn’t like shopping. The smell washed over me again it smelt like the forest and vanilla, I could get used to that.

“Tala… please come with me for your tests” an older man said he was around 30 and had auburn hair and green eyes. I moved with him outside he gestured to a small door which I went through and shifted into my wolf.

When I came out he looked me over with a look of astonishment on his face he was obviously staring at my pure white wolf. He signalled for me to follow him I complied as we walked into the forest.

“Now Tala, we are going to be doing some tests assessing how strong you are in both forms today we’ll be doing wolf tests. Ok so what I want you to do is once we hook you into the harness I want you to pull this truck out of the bog”

I tilted my head to the side looking around the man I saw a huge mining truck full with rocks stuck in a manky, muddy bog, there was two ropes attached to the tires, then attached to a harness out of the bog. I moved over and stood in place while he hooked the harness over my back under my legs and holding my chest. I saw a few guys coming down to look at what was happening he yelled go at me and I started pulling it wasn’t extremely hard but I had to put in a bit of effort just starting off when I felt the pressure relieve a bit I turned around to look and saw that the truck was far out of the way of the bog I stopped pulling and sat down waiting for him to un-hook the harness.

The guys who had been watching before where all staring at me with shock and awe, I smiled in my wolf form, once I had been unhooked I waited for the next instructions, I carried on with the tests all day more and more people gathered as I went through. They tested my strength, reflexes, timing, and fighting in wolf form.

Once I had finished for the day a big crowd had formed watching me, I went into the room and shifted, getting dressed quickly. I walked out of the room and started walking toward the main building guys were looking at me with desire and girls with jealousy I hated when people stared. I took the stairs three at a time getting up to my room in no time. When I got there I let out a small scream as someone jumped on me in a hug, by instinct I flipped us around so that they were against the wall. “O shit, jeez sorry I didn’t mean to scare you, sorry” I looked into Jess’s pleading eyes and let go of her arms. “Oh I’m sorry I didn’t realise it was you, force of habit…” I shrugged my shoulders trying to lighten the mood. 

Jess shot me a dazzling smile and grabbed my hand and started pulling me toward the walk in wardrobe. When I entered I looked around the whole thing was filled to the brim with clothes, scattered over the floor where bags from many different boutiques and shops. She looked at me excitedly and started jumping up and down squealing. I ran my fingers over the exquisite clothing soft silk and different blends touching my fingertips.

I turned around and smiled the biggest smile I could, when I ran to her and gave her a huge hug she was slow to react but eventually realised and hugged me back. After about 10 minutes of explaining the layout of my closet and makeup section she left me alone to shower from my hard day of training. I walked into my newly stocked closet and pulled on some skinny jeans and a loose white singlet, with some black combat boots.

When I walked downstairs I was greeted by silence everyone turned to look at me then the whispers started having advanced hearing I could hear it all “did you see her today” “how is she so strong” “she must be on drugs or steroids”. I turned around to snarl but then the scent hit me again and I calmed down, I followed my nose to try to find the source of the scent. I finally found myself outside next to a pile of clothes, and paw prints in the mud, they must have gone for a run.

I started longing not knowing who this stranger was but how he still had such an influence on me, I didn’t want someone to be able to control me I had been controlled my whole life and had finally gotten away I was not going to be made to do things again. NEVER AGAIN.
