Chapter 5- Delivering the News

Somewhere very far away from the neighborhood and in the dark forest while it was still raining, there was a black building being spotted with a "No Trespassing" Sign at the big metal doors. Upon the inside what looks like an evil base for the purge minions and their mob boss leader himself, Scary Larry. It looks rather more dull than the other purge leaders' bases since he was given one for his own. At the main hall, there were some groups of minions sitting and relaxing around while playing cards or chatting among themselves since most of them got back from purging players from other neighborhoods and were just waiting for the last group of minions to return.

Across the hall, there was a room and there was someone inside. He was sitting and leaning on a chair while his legs were on the desk as somehow his wind-up key doesn't seem to be a problem when sitting on a chair. The golden crowbar was just laying beside him as he got back from purging a few houses with his minions. He had one of his arms at the back of his head while the other one was holding what looks like a silver arm bangle with a dark blue gem on it. He was staring at it non-stop as he held it tightly in his hand and was probably distracted from it.

"Still thinking about her Boss?" as a voice spoke out as a minion just entered the room. Just like the other minions, he had the same exact outfit but what makes him more different from the other minions is that he had a mustache with a chef hat and cooking gloves on with a name tag labeled "Chef Minion".

"Ah Chef. I'm presuming you're done making food for everyone." Scary Larry looked up as he lowered his hand which held the arm bangle. "Yes Boss. Most of the minions have already returned back. Just waiting for the last group to return."

"Good good Chef. That's rather pleasing to finally hear the minions have came back with more goods without getting caught. It was such a pain in the ass when I had to deal with some of them personally. I'm honestly impressed you guys are able to do your work so well these days. Good job." as Scary Larry went back to looking back at the arm bangle. Chef minion walked up close to the desk and also stared at the bangle as he spoke. "I see you still have her bangle. Still missing her huh?"

"Well yeah. Even though it's been like 22 years since she just disappeared after that accident, it was one of the last things that was left from her. The rest of the purge leaders took the rest of the remaining items left by her since they wanted to keep them. It just reminds me a lot of that kid, I'm still questioning what exactly happened to her till now. And yet? We still have yet to find who was that smartass who decided to kidnap her" Scary Larry spoke as he sighed.

"Well I'm sure she's out there somewhere Boss. We missed her too. I must admit that it's really boring without that kid. Honestly I wonder how old she would be by now?" Chef questioned. "Probably in her 30s-40s. She went missing when she was just 16. I wonder how she would even look like now. All grown up." as he paused. "I'm sure we will find her soon, boss. Just keep your hopes up. You may never know when that lucky day would happen Sir." Chef minion replied as he just patted his shoulder which he was completely fine by it.

"I guess so. At least you can understand my feelings. If only we had some damn miracle of her traces or whereabouts-" but he was immediately cut off when another minion barged in the room causing Scary Larry to stumble on his chair and Chef just looked at him. "31, for the last time, stop barging the door damn it. Do you ever learned what manners are!?" as Scary Larry spoke, sounding very annoyed as he got up from the chair while holding his golden crowbar like a cane.

"Sorry boss for my rude interuptions. The last group have returned. But they wish to speak to you immediately because apparantely they discovered something." Minion 31 spoke as both the Chef minion and Scary Larry looked at each other. Scary Larry had a rather annoyed but worried expression on his face, hoping it wasn't another cause of his minions getting caught and thrown to jail again as he sighed.
