Break in 🎭

Chapter 7: The Basement

Pretty much the next day after all that hell broke loss, it seemed the purge minions have retreated and the house looked rather bare. As the doors were now unlocked. The text box yet again appeared.

The Green room was attacked last night.. Everyone survived

The Pink room was attacked last night.. Everyone survived

The boards weren't enough to hold them. Thankfully they retreated.

Head downstairs and check on the windows and doors, be careful.

Vicky immediately got out of the pink room and started healing those whose health is currently very low right now. Colover came out looking a bit bruised as there was a small bleeding on her forehead while some of the other adults like Nicholas, Guest24 and Daniel were covered with small cuts and as for Daniel, he had a black eye. "My goddness... Are you dear alright?!" as Vicky asked in worried while healing the others with the med-kit she has.

"Yea we're fine Vicky, just some bruises and cuts. But I think Colover and Daniel had it worse." Guest24 said. Fred went to help Colover while Vicky immediately went to Daniel after healing the rest of them. "Daniel! I told you to be more careful!" she spoke in a worried tone as she started healing him up. "Come on V, Don't worry about me. You know l'll always be here to protect you. Even if it means to get hurt." he slightly chuckled while Vicky looked a little flustered and gave him a playful nudge.

"Oh Daniel... Always the cute lovable goofball you are... but still please be careful. I don't want you to get hurt." As the children huddled together, Leafy was making sure everyone was fine before heading over to his sister to hug her. "You good Colover? That wound seemed pretty bad... Did they hurt you this badly?!" Fred asked in concern. "No, no they didn't hurt me that badly... this wound is here because of uh.. A careless mistake" as she looked a little embarrassed which made Fred confused. "I'll explain it later." she replied.

Dankin looked around the broken boards and glass shards on the floor as he inspected it. "Damn it. It didn't even hold them off at all. This is far more complicated and concerning than any purge they have committed the past years. Fred. Colover. We need to get in touch with Cheif, Bradley and the rest of our co-workers asap. Or things will get worse from here." he said a he looked back at them. Dankin just acted like yesterday's argument didn't even happened but it was a little understandable as it was not the best time to bring it up.

"Umm... Guys? Where's Flare and Mr Josh!?" Mike asked in worry when the group noticed Josh and Flare was no where to be found which send a panic among the group. That's when they were all teleported to the main hall where Josh was standing there while holding Flare in his arms, both looking stunned. "Thank god you two are alright! We got worried for a sec-" as Matteo looked at them but paused and Josh spoke up.

"Guys.. you might wanna check this... Me and Flare found this." Flare pointed at the direction which revealed to be a broken and shattered window window. "You guys don't think-" Flare spoke but was interrupted when the text box started playing.

The Basement door has been left open. I think- I think a bad guy is still down there.

As the scene then shifted the basement door that was open as black mist came out. There was then loud thumping sounds coming from downstairs. There was indeed someone down there and he/she seemed to be coming from the basement as the thumping sounds got louder. The text bos immediately typed in bold letters.
