Gavin.

Once we're all in the spare room, I lock the door and look at all of them. Marcus and Isiah exchange confused expressions while Santiago and Maya look at Alex with hatred.

I go over to Alex and wrap my hands around Alex, giving him a brief kiss then turn to the rest of the room.

"So, let me explain. I was getting absolutely wasted with the team, when from the corner of my eye, I noticed Santiago leading a girl behind the house. It turns out that the girl was Maya. Alex notices too and finds them making out. He attacks Santiago and insults Maya-"

"-As I should," Alex cuts in and we all just roll our eyes at him.

"-and people surround them. That's when Isiah and Marcus come in and try to calm the situation down."

Isiah looks at Maya with disgust, Santiago looks at Isiah apologetically.

No one says anything for a while and time passes with as exchanging glances. Some full of pity, others of hatred.

"Can we just talk?" Marcus says from his seat by the window, the moonlight illuminating his face, making his honey eyes look like sparkling gold.

For a second I almost think he's referring to me and the unresolved issues we have had for the last two years.

We lock eyes and for a second it feels like we could fix this.

"Someone say something." He continues, snapping me back to reality.

"How about we're over!" Isiah shouts towards Maya. She cries with her head in her hands.

Santiago stand from his seat on the other side of the room and comes over to Isiah, "Look dude, don't hate on her. She really loves you ok."

"Don't even start. You're my brothers best friend, you're not supposed to do this to me." Isiah argues back.

"I know. I screwed up, OK. But don't u love her?"

"I do and she knew that too. Look what she did with my heart."

"I'm sorry. " Maya sobs out.

We all stay silent. It seems like awkward silence is living in this room.

I know what isiah is probably thinking right now, having been in this exact situation. Though I never found out on the actual day, it took me two weeks and a sad confession for me to find out. Though I know what he must be thinking.

If you know I love you then why would you break my heart.

It's the same thing I thought when Marcus told me about William.

"I'm not sober enough for this shit," Alex mutters as he leaves, "I'll be with the boys downstairs, we'll leave when you're done." He tells me as he blows me a kiss.

He's tired. I can see it in the way he moves and his eyes drop.

I turn my attention back to the silent chaos in the room.

Santiago starts,"Look. Isiah, I'm sorry about what happened and there's no excuse I can give that will give me a good reason for doing any of this. Now if you'll excuse me, I've got to fix things with Alex, I can't lose my best friend. I love the guy."

He leaves and Isiah takes a deep breath.

"Let's go somewhere more private to talk about it." He says to Maya. She nods and they head for the door. Before they leave Marcus says, "Hey you two. Fix things, You don't want to end up the way I did. Neither of you do."

His gaze travels to me but only briefly before returning back to the broken couple in front of us.

They nod to him and leave the room.
