Chapter 14!

The Christmas Season.

A season where people spread much love and cheer to all of their friends and families. It's a season that can be interpreted by different people, some go home and spend the much needed holiday break with the ones they hold dear and some spend it alone or maybe with a pet or two.

But for companies, it was the time of the year when they gathered their employees for Christmas parties.

The merry spirit was mixed in the smiles and bright moods of the employees getting a chance to unwind and enjoy their last time of the year in the office.

Companies can think of plenty of ways for their employees to enjoy the holidays, morale was also important around the office after all.

(YN) blankly stared at the cup on his hand. The sounds of people talking and soft music playing was in the air yet he only wanted to keep silent. If he was really being honest, he wanted to go home.

He didn't really want to attend the party but with the prospect of added bonuses to their paycheck and the man getting the chance to socialize with more people, even Sana urged him to join.

The accountant stirred his cup, making the fizzy liquid circle around the inside of the cup. He raised it and took a small sip of the sweet champagne that was given to everyone.

"Mr. Choi?"

He was looking around the office when he suddenly heard a voice coming from his side. Turning to the source of the voice, he saw none other than his intern facing him.

She wore her typical office attire with her almost signature pair of glasses. A plate of food was on one of her hands while a glass of the same champagne was on another.

"Do you need anything Tzuyu-ssi?" (YN) asked the intern. She shook her head and raised her plate slightly at the man.

"What are you doing here, sir?" Tzuyu returned with a question, looking around at the space of the office they were in.

There wasn't a lot of people around these parts as much of the employees gathered at one side of the room where all the food was lined up.

There was also a makeshift stage set up at the front of the office, (YN) heard that they'll be doing something for all the employees later.

"Just waiting for the party to end. How about you? I hope you're enjoying the party." (YN) told his intern who answered with a little nod. She placed the plate of food in her hands on a round table behind them before standing beside her supervisor.

"I guess I'm enjoying the party. I met the people in the other departments earlier. Oh yeah, Ms. Im from the tax department wanted me to give you this." Tzuyu said before looking down at her pocket and reached her hand in.

(YN) turned and saw the girl pull two thin strips of paper out her pocket. He reached his hand out slightly and she placed one strip on his hand. Looking at the paper, it had a number on it.

"What's this for?" (YN) asked, turning the paper on its back and seeing nothing else written or printed on it.

"Oh it's for the raffle later." Tzuyu replied. She pointed towards towards the makeshift stage at the front where two employees were setting up some kind of caged ball machine, similar to the ones used in bingo games.

"Raffle, huh? Any idea on what the prizes are?" (YN) asked the girl next to him.

"From the looks of it, a toaster, a washing machine and something else?" Tzuyu pointed towards the stage. From a distance, the pair could see people setting up the prizes on the stage.
