Landon's POV.
The next time Landon got woken up by Sofia because Lillian threatened to set her cabin on fire, he was going to cry. Maybe burn it down himself.
Landon groaned as he was shaken awake by Sofia. He forced his eyes open and almost shut them again as the light from the window almost blinded him.
"Urgh, piss off." He slapped his hand around their bedside table for his glasses and grabbed them. He was mumbling curses and swears the whole time. He sat up as Sofia stopped shaking him, and he put on his glasses.
Sofia stood beside his bed, twiddling with her thumbs as he forced himself off of the bed. Sofia proceeded to lead him outside, not bothering to let him change out of his pajamas. He rubbed sleep from his eyes, stretching as he went.
He followed her as she led him to the Ares cabin, careful not to tread on too many rocks and plants on his way. Landon was pretty sure the argument was already over, but he honestly couldn't be bothered to stop Lillian from setting fire to something today.
He loved both of them, platonically, of course, but they got into ridiculous arguments a lot. Some were hilarious, and some got to the point where either him or Natasha had to step in.
They arrived at the cabin, and Sofia spoke to Lillian, who stood outside, presumably waiting for them to arrive.
"Tell Landon what you told me." Lillian looked unbothered and exclaimed simply,"I said that being able to fight isn't a valid excuse to stab my pillow." Landon resisted the urge to laugh and covered his mouth with one hand. Sofia looked affronted.
"It's not funny! She burned my favorite book! The corners are now singed!" Lillian rolled her eyes, and Landon spoke quickly,
"Okay, okay. Let's try to avoid a fight at- what time is it?" He asked Lillian, who responded calmly."Eight thirty." Landon groaned internally and continued.
"Let's try to avoid a fight at eight thirty in the morning, shall we?" Sofia and Lillian nodded, and he turned to Sofia. "Also, don't wake me up before nine o'clock on weekends.""I know, but I couldn't deal with my cabin being set on fire!" Landon scowled and left, trudging back to his cabin tiredly. He opened the door boredly and walked in, closing it behind him.
He approached his bed, placed his glasses on the bedside table, and flopped onto it boredly. He didn't bother going under the blanket before he closed his eyes and fell asleep again.
He woke up a few hours later as other people started waking up, too. He grabbed his glasses and forced himself to eat up and dressed. He pulled on a pair of socks, one with dinosaurs and one with stars, and put his Converse on tiredly. His Converse were a pale blue that were covered in doodles, mud, and paint.
He rooted through their bedside drawers for their mirror and heard Lexie groan from her bed.
"Is everyone getting up now?"He gave her a quick yes and opened his newly found pocket mirror, holding his hairbrush in his other hand. He brushed his hair quickly, fluffing it with every stroke.
He checked his messed up dyed hair and tied it up with a bright blue hairband. He had tried to dye his hair dark blue after dying it red previously, and it had turned into a mix of grey, light blue, faded red, and purple. It was a bit over shoulder length and could be tied back easily.
He dumped his hairbrush and mirror back in hus bedside drawer and stood up, stretching. He heard Lexie ask behind him if he had seen her shorts but ignored her and left. She would've throttled him if he hadn't.
It was somewhat calm outside, a few people running around, a few walking and chatting, and a group waiting near the Dionusus cabin's walkway.
In the group, there was Sofia, Lillian, and Natasha. Sofia is a daughter of Ares, Lillian is a daughter of Hepheastus, and Natasha is a daughter of Aphrodite. Lillian was wearing the classic CHB shirt, Sofia's torn on the sleeves and hem, Natasha's in almost perfect condition apart from a small heart scribbled onto the right sleeve.
Landon walked over and spoke,
"Can we leave before my sister find out that I hid her shorts?" Natasha responded first.
"You hide your sister's shorts?" He nodded and smiled stupidly."Yep, and she's gonna kill me when she finds out." He shrugs, and Sofia laughs. "So, what are we doing today? Before Capture the Flag starts, obviously." Lillian perked up and answered.
"I need to show you this new thing I made!"Natasha agreed and asked,
"Is it that one you were planning a week or so ago?" Lillian nodded and continued,
"And it'll stop you lot from causing trouble."Sofia smiled fake-sweetly, Landon slapping her arm slightly.
"Sofia, stop. The last time we were aloud in her cabin, Lillian got that burn scar. Be glad we're trusted in there!"Lillian nodded, and Natasha gestured for then to head to the Hepheastus cabin
'The burn scar' is a burn on Lillian's face. Not a teeny-tiny one, but a sizeable one on the left side of her face.It had been caused by Sofia and Landon as the last time they'd been in the Hepheastus cabin, and Sofia and Landon had been pushing each other around jokingly.
They had accidentally knocked a shelf that fell on top of a table, and a piece of hot metal flew towards Lillian's face. Despite having the ability of fire control and being able to set herself on fire, if Lillian doesn't prepare herself for the heat, then she'll burn.
So the metal hit her face, burned her, and Sofia and Landon had spent the next few weeks helping in every way they could as repayment as it healed. Lillian didn't have any hard feelings towards them, but the scar was annoying at times.
Sometimes Lillian forgot it existed and got caught by surprise when she looked in the mirror. She wasn't ashamed of it. No way, nearly everyone in CHB had at least one scar on their face or upper body, so they couldn't really judge her.
Natasha even had one. She'd been paying Capture the Flag, and the Aphrodite team had been against the Apollo kids. A runaway arrow had grazed her right cheek instead of pinning her shirt to a tree.
Landon had a few on his face from training with swords and fights with other campers. Sofia had them nearly everywhere on her body due to being an Ares daughter and reckless. So, scars were a very common occurrence at Camp.
