Natasha's POV

A loud BANG resonated through the room, followed by a very recognisable voice yelling,
"Fuck!"

She sat up, rubbing her eyes with a groan.
"Landon, what are you doing?" She looked over and saw Landon hunched over like an old lady while holding his camera and a book. He looked a bit creepy, bent in a really shallow light as his head was turned at a weird side angle to look at her.

He straightened his posture a bit, smiling. He held up the book. "Morning! I was just trying to get to the light switch. I wanted to get a photo of a page in this book." He held it up, and it was revealed to be called Six Of Crows. "And I stubbed my toe on the desk."

Natasha had heard of the book and nodded. Landon continued speaking. "You can go back to sleep if you want. I was just about to go get Sofia up. I say only Sofia because Lillian's probably already awake."

Natasha shrugged, throwing off her blanket. "No point in going back to sleep now. Gonna have to get up in about ten minutes anyway." Landon shrugged, placing down his book and taking a quick picture of a page.

Natasha got out of bed, stretching as she did. "Fuck, I'm tired." She mumbled, grabbing her bag from under her bed. She dug through it for a new outfit, deciding on a pair of cargos and a vest.

Landon was dressed in his usual baggy jeans and an oversized shirt. He'd tied up his hair, usually down past his shoulder and fluffy. Lillian liked to call it his floof sometimes.

"Do you think you can take mugs with cameras?" Landon asked, heading to the door to leave. Natasha nodded, putting her bag back down on the floor.
"Probably." Landon left, and she got changed quickly.

When she finished, she brushed her hair out and made sure it looked alright in her pocket mirror. She opened the door and was met by the sight of Landon running past the doorway, holding his camera as Sofia ran after him, yelling.

Natasha quickly overtook her shock and shook her head a bit in disbelief. The group all met up at the hotel's front door around an hour later, Landon complaining about how early it was.

To Natasha's surprise, it was 9:20. That meant Landon had gotten up before 8:30 for once in his life. She brought this up, and Landon made a noise of annoyance.

"I don't know why I woke up early! My brain just hates me!" Natasha gave him a reassuring pat on the shoulder, and he smiled a bit before Lillian spoke up.

"I know where we have to go next. And you lot aren't gonna like it, Landon especially." Natasha nodded, the group walking out of the hotel as Lillian continued speaking.

"We're heading over to this little town near the sea." The other three nodded in acknowledgement.
"Why?" Sofia asked, fixing her bag on her back.

"We're attending high school." Natasha was a bit shocked to begin with, but heard Landon left out a loud curse.
"For fucks sake! Why?" He glared at a boy passing by who looked about 11 and very disapproving of his swearing.

"Because Eris has a son there. If we can find him and befriend him, we have a chance at finding out where Eris is." Sofia nodded, Natasha shrugging in boredom.

"Do I have to join you three in this?" Lillian shot him an annoyed look.
"Yes. We don't know what type of kid this guy is, so we need all of us at a better shot at making friends with this guy."

Landon looked pissed off but seemed to see sense in what Lillian had said. He frowned but nodded, causing Lillian to nod in response. The group rounded a corner and were met with a path of plain road.

"We're heading down here for a while. Anyone wearing boots, I'm sorry." Natasha looked down at her feet, now regretting her choice of shoes. Landon shrugged at his own boots.
