It had been a couple days since Christmas and not only had I got closer with the group but also with David.
Currently, I was lying at the top of dds bed scrolling through Pinterest while he was at the end play fortnight.
"Davidd" I whined.
"Yeah ma" he said making me blush.
That 𝐦𝐚 word oh my gosh.
"I got a question"
"Hm?" He hummed.
"No come here" I mugged patting the bed next to me.
"what you big forehead ah want?"
"First off shut up. But this serious."
"I'm listening" he smiled. ".. when we gone tell everyone?"
It had been eating me up. My feelings were only growing stronger for him and it was getting hard keeping it a secret from my best friends.
"Kya I'm chillin, it's when ever you want"
"Well I want it to be soon." I exclaimed grabbing his arm.
"Alri we'll do it when we get home, that's coo?" He raised an eyebrow.
"Of course."
"Now cmon we gotta get ready" he laughed before kissing me and pulling me out of bed.
"Can we match??"
"Boy we jus goin to my aunts house.." I deadpanned him.
"And.?" He said with a sassy tone.
"Don't eva do ts again" I laughed back.

"Yo you wanna get sum to eat?" Dd asked opening his passenger car door for me
"Nigga is you dumb? My auntie cooking remember."
"Oh yeahhh" he replied in a dumb tone.

To dd's surprise meeting my aunt went well.
She was sweet and welcoming, nothing like my mom.
"So you wanna call evb over?" David turned to me asking.
"For what?"
"Pop outtt, remember?" He laughed making my eyes go wide.
NO. I actually had forget about that.
It's not that I didn't want them to know but I was really just nervous, even though I was the one who wanted to do it today.
Seeing I was getting flustered dd suggested an idea that didn't require me to talk much.
"Alright what about we just post it and let them see for themselves"
That would be easier but that also meant announcing it to the whole world.
"Let's do it" I nodded.
"You sure?"
"Yeah"
As soon as we got home dd added the picture we took earlier in our matching outfits to his story with caption reading "𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐠𝐢𝐫𝐥 𝐈 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐡𝐚𝐝".
As soon as I saw it, I couldn't help but smile. Was I really the best girl he ever had?
Less than 3 minutes later both our phones started to buzz making us side eye each other since we already knew what it was about.
"𝐒𝐎 𝐈𝐒 𝐈𝐓 𝐎𝐅𝐅𝐈𝐂𝐈𝐀𝐋 𝐎𝐑 𝐖𝐇𝐀𝐓?" Kaylee shouted.
Before i could shake my head yes, David grabbed my jaw and placed a soft kiss against my lips making all four of them go crazy.
"I'm so proud" Darrian faked sniffled.
