ME & YOU...?

RIPPED JEANS & MAC AND CHEESE

Riker P.O.V.💙 (Saturday June 21, 2015)

I'm in my room putting on my favorite pair of ripped jeans and a tight black tee, for my date today with JoMari. We decided not to do anything special and just go to the local fair. That way we would be able to hang out a while and get to know each other more. I grab my smile jumper and walk out my room to see my younger sister Rydel walking by. I get her attention; "So... What do you think?" I ask pointing to what I was wearing. She laughs, and I tell her it's for my date with JoMari. Making sure to add where it is we are going because she had a strange look on her face.

"Oh, thank goodness you're just going to hang out at the fair. If not I would have made you go change, but next time don't wear ripped jeans you always wear those things. Does mom ever get a chance to wash them?" I stick my tongue out at her and head down stairs when I hear her scream, "Good luck Riker!"

That's when my 3 younger brothers -Rocky, Ross, and Ryland- run up to me "Good luck on what ugh," Rocky says and smirks. "What are you up to Riker?"

I laugh and say, "Rydel was wishing me luck on my date with JoMari." That's when mom over hear the conversation.

"Oh my stars, going on your first date with JoMari and I still haven't even seen the girl!" mom says in a sweet yet surprised tone.

I walk pass the boys and towards her in the kitchen. I give her a quick hug and a kiss on the cheek and answer; "Morning mom! We are just going to go to the fair for a while. I still have to get to know her too, you all will meet her soon."

"OK, sweetie I understand, here have some food before you go. R5 COME DOWN STAIRS TO EAT, THE FOOD IS READY!" Mom says rushing around the kitchen, finishing up the food, and plating it.

"Is it mac and cheese?!" Rocky says.

Mom chuckles, "Macaroni and cheese for breakfast Rocky?"

"YES mac and cheese for breakfast, lunch, and dinner!"

"How about a bagel sandwich with eggs for breakfast? I'll make sure to make you macaroni and cheese for lunch Rocky."

"I'm good with that," He says taking his plate and sitting.

"Thanks for the food mom." Ross says as he grabs his plate, kisses mom on the cheek, and goes to sit down to eat.

"Yeah, thanks mom!" Rocky and Ryland say with their mouths filled with food.

Rydel walks in the room dressed differently than when I saw her upstairs. "I might have to pass on breakfast mom I am going to have breakfast with Ell and his parent today," (Ell=Ellington Ratliff, a family friend and Rydel's boyfriend.) 

Rocky interrupts and screams "Rydellingtion soo cute!" (Rydellingtion is the ship name for Rydel and Ell it's kind of cute.)

"Sorry mom love you." She continues to speak as she hugs mom a goodbye, gets her keys, and walks to the door. "BYE BOYS!" She screams and all of us say bye in unison back to her.

I was standing in the same spot for a while now thinking about my date today. That I guess I didn't bother to move and Ross might have found that weird. "Riker you going to sit, eat, move, do anything or just stand there thinking." I wasn't known for doing much heavy thinking just every now and then, unlike Ross he is in deep thought quite often.

I answer back, "Oh yeah, sorry about that." I grab my plate that has been in the counter for a while and take it to my seat, seating down next to Rocky.

"So what were you thinking of Riker?"  Ross asks, then takes a bit of his sandwich.

"I really don't know just thinking about the date over all. Did we pick a good place to go? What's going to happen when we get there? What will we do?" I stop my blabbering and ask, "Do I really always wear this ripped jeans?"

"I don't know; what do you think you are the one wearing them." Rocky says with a hand on his mouth trying to hide that fact that he has food in it.

"I think I put them on a descent amount of times." I go back to mumbling my thoughts, "but Rydel does have a point last time I saw JoMari-which was just a few days ago- I was wearing these jeans too."

"Bro, does it really matter what jeans you wear to the fair?" Ryland says swallowing at the end.

I answer, "No, it matters what jeans I wear to my first date with JoMari!"

"Dude chill there fine. When is it that you have to go pick up JoMari though?" Rocky says shhing everyone up clearly thinking there is no point to this conversation.

"At twelve," I answer taking a bite of my food.

"Oh, I suggest you eat fast and worry late Riker. You only have a few till twelve, if you are going to make it to her place in time." Ross tells me and I look over at the time on the oven. Freaking out I think, "Oh damn, 11:25 I have to eat, and then get to her place which is like a 20 min drive. What if I skip breakfast?" I take a couple more bits of the sandwich, grab a mug from the cabinets, and pour some coffee. I hand the pot to Rocky. So, he could have some coffee too. I took a few more bits of the sandwich, a sip of coffee, grab my keys, and I'm almost out the door.

"Wow slow down there Riker your food won't sit well if you don't relax." Ryland tries to tell me. While, I run around the house making sure I got everything. "Yeah and then..." he makes a puking sound, "all on your date."

Ross smacks Ryland in the head while saying; "You're not helping!" Ryland holds back a laugh. I put my unfinished sandwich in the refrigerator, I guess I'll be eating that later. I finish up my coffee and place the mug in the sink. "Thanks mom, the food was great! I just got to go don't want to be late." I turn to look at the time on the oven once again, 11:33 it read. I better get going!

I walk out the kitchen and head to the front door. When I hear Ross yell, "GOOD LUCK MAN!"

"Yeah, good luck bro!" Rocky and Ryland yell.

Mom: "Bye honey."

"BYE GUYS, THANKS!" I yell back and walk out, lock the door, and head to my car. I hop in and take a deep breath. Trying to remember how to get to JoMari's house.

I drove by the little hole in the wall coffee shop where I meat JoMari, then head to her complex building. I thought this would be the best way to get to her place without getting lost.

It was 12:02 when I made it to JoMari's building. I hop out my car and made it in the lobby of her building. I take out my phone to text her that I was here. I look for her contact, "JoMari💕"

ME💀: I'm here what floor are you in I'll be right up 

JoMari💕:  2nd but don't bother coming up

I'm already ready

I'll just meet u down

Wait 4 me @ the lobby

ME💀: Ok cutie see you down here

A/N Been working really hard on this chapter. This is not the whole thing of course there is more. If u find any typos mistakes or stuff let me know. I tried editing it as much as I could. But I just got tired of rereading the same thing. The actually date and the second part to this will be up soon, I hope. But for sure today.
