Riker P.O.V.💙 (Monday June 23, 2015)

Rydel showed up a few minutes after us. Once JoMari and I had already picked a spot and put out the umbrella and chair. When Rydel opened the car door and stepped out it looked like a clown car. It had her, Ell, Rocky, Daniella, Ryland, and Ross. Yep she brought them all along. I don't mind much as long as the two single bachelor's -Ross and Ryland- keep their distance. She is finally taken by ME!

I am sitting on the chair JoMari brought drinking some soda. JoMari was in the water calling out for me to come in with her. I am just waiting for when she is not looking to come over and sneak behind her.

Ryland gets up from his chair and heads for the water. I keep an eye on him. He comes close to her and asks her something, I couldn't tell what it was. JoMari nodes and I see then swimming into the deep end.

I instantly got up and jumped in the water. I wanted to make sure JoMari and/or Ryland would not see me. So, I tried to swim low. That is till I bummed into someone. I look up to see Rocky, "Oh sorry man." I told him and look over to see Daniella staring at me with a look like that said Um-mm... What are you doing here? Man if looks could murder people I would have been killed by Daniella multiple times now. "Sorry I was trying to swim to JoMari." I told them both.

"Well she is over there," Daniella says pointing to her far right; "and you are over here. Why are you here? When you should be there with her instead of your brother?" Daniella questions and I would like to know why myself.

"I am trying to scare her." I reply and start swimming to the right.

"Look where you are swimming though," Rocky tells me. "Next time you might not bump into someone you know." He keeps talking as I keep swimming.

Almost ten water strokes or more, I heard someone shout my name "Riker!"

"Oh please don't be a fan." I thought looking up to see JoMari not so far from me.

Man she saw me that means Ryland probably saw me too. "You finally made it in the water. It took you long enough." She says in a sweet tone with a smile that seemed to be on her face for before I got to her.

"Yeah, but it didn't take Ryland long enough to get you all the way out here." I say with a death glare towards Ryland.

"Bro, I just asked her if she wanted to go for a swimming seeing as you were not going in." Ryland spats back.

"I wasn't going in cause I was going to..." I don't finish my sentence. "I don't need to tell you what I was going to do because it doesn't even matter."

"Um..." JoMari awkwardly says.

"Sorry JoMari. I'll just be going and leave you two to talk." Ryland says swimming off towards the shore.

"What was that about Riker?" JoMari asks kind of pissed.

"What do you mean what was that. Ryland was flirting with you and you were flirting back. I should be asking what that was about to you!" I shout and she touches my shoulder.

"Riker chill it was nothing. I just wanted to go out for a swim but I didn't want to go alone. When you didn't come Ryland offered to come with me so I took his offer. Plus, I wasn't flirting with him and if he was flirting with me I feel bad for him." She tells me giving me a sweet smile.

"Why do you feel bad for him?" I asked not understand what she meant and I was kind of getting frustrated.

"Yeah I feel bad that he likes a taken girl. And by his own brother too. You're my first boyfriend Riker. Surprise now you know something new. So, I don't think I am getting rid of you Just Yet." She laughs.
