Detected! -North America Finale-

The Rangers. But not any rangers, the Rogue Bandits, also known as the Rangers.
Consisting of Fang the Sniper, Bark the Polar Bear and Dynamite.

"Woah woah! Hold on, what are you doing!?", Sonic asked the Rangers below him. The only response he got back was basically a worse situation. Fang placed his hunting gun on his shoulder, aiming to sonic, who by this point was trying his best to dislodge the straps on the rope.

Fang took a shot at Sonic. Just as it would've hit his skin, sonic spinned off the straps and began falling to the ground below. Tails, just began moving towards his position.

Sonic finally met the ground, in the canyon. After landing awkwardly on his ankle, his running was affected. He looked up, to a nozzle pointed straight to his head.

"Wait, we can talk!", sonic exclaimed in a last-ditched effort to persuade the Sniper. "Fine. Talk!", Fang responded as his echo spread across the canyon. Sonic, who wasn't expecting that, decided to talk.

"Ok. I'm here to grab-AH!", SONIC exclaimed as he tried to get up. "I need something from here. I just need to grab it, and go, no complications! All I need is to get to it, which you have hindered by threatening to shoot me-", sonic continued until Dynamite cut him off. "Just end there. This is a NON-TOURISM area bro", Dynamite let sonic know.

Sonic just shrugged. Dynamite didn't waste any time, and threw, well, you get the idea. Sonic, whose leg had taken a major hit, had to dodge. Groaning from the excruciating pain, sonic contacted tails.

"Tails, I've been caught! I need a pickup!", sonic exclaimed in his wrist communicator. Tails, didn't respond. "Tails. Miles... TAILS!!!", Sonic tried to get the fox's attention.

"Heh. It seems out little, waoh! Hey! Watch out!", sonic continued in his painful attempt to dodge the explosives. He ran, in pain, across the walls of the canyon.

Each explosive slid down behind sonic, to his advantage. Sonic began picking up speed, growing he gap between him and the Rangers. But, sonic couldn't expect what would've come next, a turn! Well, actually, he knew it was inevitable.

Because of his sheer speed, he launched into the wall of the canyon, enough to knock him into half-consciousness. He looked up, cornered, expecting a bashing. But, nothing happened. Fang and his gang cornered him but, didn't do anything.

Fang turned his back, clicked something, and looked back to sonic. He pointed his tranquilliser gun towards sonic. "Nighty-Night hog", he proclaimed to sonic. Fang pulled is trigger... Nothing. His gun didn't fire. He looked towards bark, then Dynamite.

Sonic instantly know what to do. He kicked the gun out of Fang's hand onto the ground. Bark threw a punch towards sonic, ultimately hitting dynamite. The Rangers instantly began throwing obnoxious punches. Sonic, slid behind them. He tried to begin running but, couldn't get to full speed.

His vision slowly began worsening but, a swift bar quickly stopped him from falling. He found himself clinging on Tails' Tornado wing. He could barely balance himself from falling from the fast jet.

Tails waved the shard in his hand. "I- Sonic!? Are you ok!?", Tails asked violently. Tails performed a barrel roll and landed sonic into his seat. He sighed when the glass finally shut.

But, Tails didn't deal with everything. Before he could get to altitude, a jet ski looking aircraft picked up to tails' altitude, constantly rising. It's pilot [Other aircraft] was out in the open. Tails looked to his side, saw the pilot and immediately slowed down his rise.

He shared a glance with the purple Sniper. The other pilot [revealed as fang] came close to tails window. Using sign language, Fang [other pilot] communicated, "Give back the Shard". Tails gave him a stare and slammed a button on his dashboard.

A blaster appeared from below the wing. Fang looked at it, gained a smirk, and shot it using a simple pistol. The mechanism [Tails' blaster] simply fell off. Tails and fang shared another glance, this time, tails had enough.

Tails flew higher than fang, and aimed rocket launchers towards him [Fang]. The two Aircrafts began flying around in the air constantly, dodging each other's attacks. Tails took a quick shot, and hit the other aircraft, piloted by Fang. Fang landed on Tails' wing. Fang began trying to pull apart a compartment on the wing as Tails flew higher to try and shake him [Fang] off.

After noticing that Fang was pulling on something, tails screamed before Fang jolted off his [Tails] wing. Fang had accidentally [or however you may take it], dislodged a fuel fuselage. Fuel began spewing off the wing.

Tails continued pulling up to lift the nose higher, allowing the air to get thinner. All he can hope is that Fang landed safely, that there's an airport coming up (with extra jet fuel) as the Tornado Jet X flew south.
