malia awoke to a cold bed and a crash coming from the kitchen. she cringed at the noise, her head being slightly achy from her alcohol intake the night before. she got up from the bed gingerly and wrapped a blanket tightly around herself before padding out to the main room.

as she approached the kitchen, she heard harry muttering to himself from behind the counter. "fucking hell," he was fumbling to put back the pans he accidentally knocked out from the cabinet.

"harry?" she peeked around the island, her smile small, fond. he turned at her voice, expression both angered and muddled. of course, it softened the second he saw her.

"g'morning, sweetheart." he said his words in a sort of slurred way, like he was so relaxed to see her he could barely form them correctly. he beckoned her over to him with a slight flick of his hand. he rested his arms around her waist, holding his forearms to make his embrace tighter. her hands were still holding the blanket together near the top of her chest. he pressed a soft kiss to her damp lips, letting it linger just a bit. after, he turned his head to the side, looking at the small mess he made with the cooking ware. "are you aware you have no coffee?"

"'course i am." she answered, head against his chest.

"and you're okay with that?" he asked, a look of disbelief crossing his face. she shrugged, not having really thought about it. he shook his head jokingly, sighing. "we're going to go get coffee. get dressed."

"harry." she dragged his name out, groaning and dropping the blanket onto the floor in protest.

"then we're going in our pajamas." he finalized. she scrunched her face at him, but he completely ignored it and held her hand, dragging her out of the apartment.

as they walked down the street, both extremely cold, malia gripped his hand tightly and grumbled something about him being so persistent. he wasn't meant to hear her, but, she wasn't too great at talking quietly.

"you'll thank me for this." he said with his lips brushing against her ear, his warm breath surpressing the cold. she shook her head, upset but still cracking a little smile at his touch. "and, this time, it's all going under one bill, darling." he chuckled, pulling the door to the shop open.

malia told harry what she wanted and went to pick out a table, thankfully ending up with the one right next to the heater.

"there ya go, lovely." he grinned, setting the coffee in front of her and sliding into his own seat. at the feeling of the heat projecting towards them, harry closed his eyes and smiled with a closed mouth, his shoulders lifted in happiness. "feels so good." he mused.

she had her cheek placed in the palm of her hand and was taking small sips from her coffee, eyes trained on him. he'd had his glasses on again, which pleased her deeply. she always thought he looked so unreal in the morning, and really at any point in the day.. he must be something out of a dream. she stretched out her legs so they were on either side of his.

"i like when you wear glasses." she told him in an attempt to prompt him to wear them more often. he raised an eyebrow at this, looking at her like she was out of her mind. "i do, really!" she pouted.

"whatever you say," he rolled his eyes, smile prominent, like always. "they probably would look better on you." he said, wiggling them off his face and onto her's.

he, like whenever she wore something of his, was stunned by the sight of her. she was looking a little wide eyed at the strong lense, but nonetheless, harry was ridiculously pleased that he got her to wear them.

"like i said," he began, staring at her softly with a smile on his lips. "better on you."

she blushed at his words, turning her head to the side out of bashfulness. "stop," she half laughed, knowing he was still looking at her.

he loved this, her becoming shy at the fact he was staring at her though they were in a proper relationship. it reminded him of his high school years - the girls were always sheepish around him. yet, with her, it was different. her reactions like this always gave him a sort of boost in confidence that she was feeling the same as him. it was kind of disappointing when he felt her poke him with his glasses to return them.

"lovely," he started, putting them on and looking out the window at the cloudy sky. "why don't we, ehm, get home before it starts massively snowing."

she took a look herself and immediately nodded. the pair stood up, their hands locked together as they walked out.

the second they stepped back into malia's apartment, they retrieved the warmest clothes they each had.

"i'm telling you, harry, stupidest idea you've ever had." malia says, sweatshirt half on. she wiggles it the rest of the way on and finds herself in harry's arms.

"yeah, but we got coffee." he shrugged, leaning down and kissing her. she lazily wrapped her arms around his neck. "your mouth tastes like mocha." he smirked against her lips.

"shh." she hummed, kissing him a little more. he slipped his hands under her shirt and squeezed her bare hips. "your hands are cold!" she jumped, hitting one of her palms on his chest. she felt the vibrations of his laughter. he trailed his hands farther up her bare torso, making her shiver for more than one reason. "harry!" she whined, trembling a bit under his touch.

"okay, okay." he sighed, retracting his hands out from under her shirt and letting his laughter die down. he kissed her one more time before taking her hand and stepping out into the living room.

harry sat on the couch, malia's head in his lap. they watched a few reruns of grey's anatomy while harry played with her messy hair, which was sprawled across his lap.

"i suppose i should clean up that mess i made in the kitchen." harry leaned his head on the top of the couch behind him. malia mumbled a bit of a 'no' and turned slightly to hug his torso. her nose was squished against his stomach and she came to realize she really liked how he smelled. the combination of spearmint and lavender was enough to drive her crazy. she'd stay like this forever if she had to. he chuckled at her affection and relaxed back. both of them were surely not to get up for hours.
