The next day, Izuku couldn't help but think if he had made the right choice. Ever since the funeral years back, Katsuki could have been his, but he couldn't put him into more danger. Since then, Eijirou had taken Katsuki to be his boyfriend. Izuku didn't know about them, Katsuki didn't say anything, but since last night, seeing the two together last night being all lovey dovey, it hurt.

Seeing Katsuki and Eijirou kiss and talk to each other...

Today, he was going to talk to him. Since Katsuki was staying at his parents to watch their cat, he had to get it out of his system. So later on that day, Izuku made his way to the Bakugou household and knocked on the door, Katsuki answered with the cat, Boomer, in his arms.

"Oh, hey, Izuku." Katsuki greeted lowly.

"Hey, Kacchan, um, do you think we can have a chat? About... Last night." Izuku asked.

Katsuki sighed and widened the door before walking back. "What is it, Izuku? I'm kinda in the middle of a phone call with Shitty hair."

Izuku sighs and sits on the couch across from Katsuki, who was petting the cat, "Kacchan, why didn't you tell me about you and Kirishima?"

"So it's Kirishima, now? I thought you two were 'best buds' for some stupid shit like that?"

"Don't change the subject, Kacchan..."

Katsuki rolls his eyes, "What subject - Izuku, you turned me down! I was in my own troubles, and where were you? Nowhere to be seen!" He yelled.

"Kacchan -"

"Don't 'Kacchan' me, you know what you did. I felt abandoned by you, and Eijirou was there for me. He actually cared about what I felt after Touya's funeral." Katsuki said, his eyes getting glossy, Izuku never felt so horrible in his life.

Izuku didn't know what to say to Katsuki. What was there to say? He could apologize since Katsuki seemed set on not forgiving Izuku anytime soon. He couldn't explain himself even though he was trying to now. He knew how stubborn Katsuki could be.

Izuku could try to get on Katsuki's good side again, but he didn't know how to do that without upsetting him.

"Well then, I don't know what to tell you, Kacchan. I was just -"

"Just too busy saving people's lives more than being there for me."

"No! Kacchan, that's not it at all! I love you, Kacchan, I still do. It's just that it's too dangerous for us to be together." Katsuki looked at him, keeping his eyes on Izuku's, there was no lies whatsoever.

"You really... Mean that?"

Izuku's eyes were glossy, and his vision was blurred from the tears. His could Kacchan think like that?

Izuku didn't realize how close he was to Katsuki till he said something about it, but either of them did anything. They just stared into each others eyes.

"Don't you have a phone call to get back to?" Izuku softly asked.

"I hung up..." Katsuki said back.

Without a second thought, Izuku kissed Katsuki. The blonde didn't even flinch and kiss back. The kiss was only eight seconds long till Katsuki remembered he had a boyfriend already and pulled back.

"What the fuck Izuku? Why would you - why would I?"

"Kacchan? Why are you -" Izuku then widened his eyes, "Kirishima! Oh shit... Oh shit, oh shit!" Izuku rambled on and on and on how they messed up and how they were going to tell Eijirou the unfortunate event that had just happened.

Katsuki was just standing in shock. He's never cheated before. He wasn't one to cheat either.

Neither of them spoke again that night. They distanced themselves, this was exactly what Izuku was afraid of. If he even involved himself with a romantic relationship, then that person will be in immediate danger!

Thankfully, Eijirou didn't come after his throat through those days. That just means Katsuki protected him.

Izuku didn't know what to do with the Katsuki situation, and it's been messing with his head even more. Dealing with rent, his mother's in danger of eviction, and now his lover (or ex lover) doesn't want anything to do with him even after explaining to Katsuki that it was for his own good and safety.

Eijirou did have his suspicions of the two a few times, though, and Izuku knew that if Eijirou ever found out Katsuki betrayed him, he would be in dead trouble.

His mother had a meeting with the bank in three days. He wanted to go with her (even if he didn't want to, he had no choice)

Izuku did notice that his powers were weakening. He didn't know why this was happening, either. He didn't know if he was just losing his powers in general or if it had to do with his mental state.

He had too much on his plate to handle losing his powers, and Izuku wanted to pay rent. He wanted to help his mother. He wanted Katsuki to he his, to keep him safe, but that just wasn't how it is.
