Katsuki and Izuku met up at a party with Izuku's boss. He hadn't yet to get the chance to talk to Katsuki until after taking pictures of very important people and seeing Eijirou and Denki there as well, he questioned himself why they were even there, until he found out about Eijirou proposing to Katsuki to marry him.

Izuku couldn't take it anymore and went to find Katsuki after the announcement.

"Hey."

Katsuki turned around and saw Izuku. He had a formal suit on, as did Katsuki, but he had a camera hanging on around his neck.

"Oh, you." Katsuki said, crossing his arms.

"So, you're engaged to Eijirou now?"

Katsuki let out a chuckle, "Eijirou... Eijirou has been there for me, he's been to my plays five times, Denki has seen it two times, Auntie Inko has seen it, my parents had seen it..." Katsuki gave Izuku a saddened look, "but my best friend can't even show up at a certain time. All you are to me is an empty seat."

"Kacchan, I wanted to be there, but I had to stop a car chase -"

"I understand that, Izuku, but when you promise something, don't. Just don't. You knew I would be disappointed, and yet, I still forgive you... But I just need some distance for now, don't bother contacting me, Izuku." Katsuki said.

Izuku tried to explain himself, but the words wouldn't come out right, Katsuki excused himself to find Eijirou, and Izuku knew that Katsuki would go back to avoiding him but it wouldn't last too long as Eijirou and Denki still hang out together with him.

Days went on, and Izuku had been swinging through New York at night every day, but one night, he had fallen from a high distance and landed on a rooftop. His powers were fully gone.

"Why is this happening to me?" Izuku questioned.

He ended up taking the elevator just to head home, a long walk he had to go through. He didn't have his bike, and he didn't have his powers anymore.

Izuku had gone to get a check-up. The doctor had told him he was just in a lot of stress and to take it easy for a while, Izuku had debated on if he should quit being Spider-Man all together and throw out his suit or just keep low with the crimes.

He was considering it until he saw the daily bugle and saw that his boss once again slandered Spider-Man.

With no second thoughts, he abandoned his Spider-Man suit and went to being a normal guy with a job at the bugle.

Izuku had seen a few small crimes being committed, but nothing the police couldn't handle. He knew Katsuki was doing a play that night and had decided to go to it without his knowledge.

Knowing Katsuki and his stubbornness.

While Katsuki was acting in the play, he looked at the crowd and saw the familiar green haired boy he loved but was mad at.

Izuku mouthed a 'hi', and Katsuki returned that silent 'hi' with a smile. He was too into his head before he heard a whisper from his director, whispering, 'I am glad.'.

Izuku felt bad that he had distracted Katsuki from his play, but it went on after that and watched how amazing Katsuki's acting was.

Izuku walked with Katsuki after the play, talking for a bit and having a decent conversation for once without conflict, joking to each other how Denki and Eijirou had still believed - no matter how many times Katsuki said about Izuku being Spider-Man - that Izuku knew Spider-Man still, Katsuki called them idiots before speaking again of a different topic. "You could have told me you were coming."

"I was afraid you'd say no."

Katsuki let out a playful huff and spoke of Izuku's differences, Izuku had been better since he threw away his suit. There wasn't much crime, but Izuku had to be stupid and mention his love for Katsuki once again. Speaking about how he picture Katsuki getting married on a hilltop with an undecided husband.

"What is there to go back to? You can't hop back on when there wasn't anything to begin with Izuku!"

"But I'm not an empty seat anymore! I'm different now," Izuku said, stopping Katsuki, "Punch me, I'd bleed."

Katsuki looked into his eyes before walking to a nearby cab, "I have to go..."

Izuku watched as Katsuki opened the cab door, "I'm getting married in a church." He spoke before getting in the cab.

At least Katsuki wasn't as mad at him anymore.
