Aurora POV-
Lately, Mothers not been sleeping well,
She has been tossing, turning and crying in her sleep. she's been very cranky most days and trying to hide her worry and restless nights . And She hardly ever lets me out of her sight.
I'm thinking to myself as I walk toward the stream in the moors to wade in the water. I see moms sitting on the waters edge with her feet in the water,
"Mom? Are you alright?"
She turns her head to look at me.
"Beastie !
she smiles at pats spot next to her
I smile and walk to sit beside her and lean into her side.
She wraps her wing around me.
"Mom you've been having nightmares about me haven't you?"
*she sighs
"You should not worry about me aurora"
"I can't help it !! Your my mother and I love you so much, please tell me what there about!"
*she looks down
"Well... she starts. I can tell it's hard for her to think about so I stay quiet and wait patiently.
"I wake up and your not in my arms anymore , I go to look for you but you but I can't find you anywhere..But your gone and I realize they've got my baby by the time I find you your already... She stops and holds in tears and tries hard not to let me see her teary eyes.
*she gives a weak smile and kisses my cheek
"I love you aurora, so so much, and if something happened to you I- I would not survive."
Tears fill my eyes and I hug her tightly
"Oh mama I'm sorry you were so worried and I feel horrible your not sleeping well and having these nightmares"
"it's alright aurora don't fuss over me I'm fine"
"Oh mother your stubborn you are NOT fine"
"I am to!!
"Are not"
"Are so Now shut up" she says playful*
I giggle. "I love u mom"
"I love you beastie, always and forever now let's go home" she stands up and helps me to my feet and we walk back to the tree as the sun slowly sets in the west.
sorry , I know it's short and it's been a very long time. Had to move and got a lot of things going on. but I'll try to be better ♥️
