As everyone sat in the main room only Kiba was missing. Everyone wondered where he is but Vergil has a suspicion.

Koneko: I guess Kiba decided to take the entire day off. Lucky him.

Rias: Where could he be?

Asia: Maybe he's sick or something?

Rias: anything else?

Asia: He did acted odd lately yesterday when we all left Vergil's house.

Rias: Vergil got any ideas?

Vergil: ...Maybe one.

Rias: What is it then?

Vergil: Yesterday he glanced at a photo of the boy of this body sitting next to another. But what got him more interested was the sword in the background.

Rias: What type of sword?

Vergil: He said it was a holy sword. I asked him about it but he waved it as nothing.

Rias: So it's about that. I guess that triggered something in Kiba.

Vergil: Explain.

Rias: The reason why Kiba acted that day was because of his tragic past.

Asia: Tragic past? What happened?

Rias: Kiba was once apart of a project that the church kept secret. It was called the holy sword project.

Asia: The holy sword project? I never heard of that before?

Rias: It's a super secret one and Kiba along with many others were test subjects for the project. Basically they try to raise people artificially to wield Excalibur but all failed even Kiba. After it failed they try to kill the subjects but only one survived. That person is Kiba himself.

Asia: Poor Kiba I hope he's alright?

Vergil: So about this Excalibur. Is it possible for me to wield one?

Rias: With your power and that you are the first devil that is not the same as us I suppose it is possible. Light doesn't hurt you nor the power so it is possible.

Vergil: So where are these Excalibur's?

Rias: That I do not know but only that there are 7 pieces of the original which the church has and then turn into individual swords of their nature.

Akeno: Sorry I'm late but I brought some guess here.

Sona: Hello Rias, Hello Mr. Sparda.

Rias: Hello Sona. Do you need something?

Sona: Indeed I do and it's a private matter. Come to my house so we can discuss it further.

Rias: Very well. Well Vergil I'll see you at your house.

Vergil: Tch let me guess you decided to live there?

Rias: Indeed I have. I'll be back tonight.

Vergil: *sigh* Let's go Asia.

As both Asia and Vergil walked together down the street but something was bothering Asia that's been eating for awhile now.
