What the hell is this? Why does so much happen to me in just a couple of days?

If you think about it that way, then everything went wrong back then, that evening.

Slow music began to play in the fabulously decorated hall, calling the gentlemen to invite and take the ladies to dance, away from the many tables that looked like they were about to collapse from the abundance of various food. From the ceiling above them, on thin ribbons, hung small, raindrops-like light bulbs, no longer than ten centimeters. And above the couples starting to dance, the ceiling was decorated with glowing purple cotton wool. From this imitation of clouds, large and small white paper cranes hung on ropes. This fantastic beauty was completed by walls that were not even visible due to the huge number of beautiful flowers, the names of only some of them seemed familiar to me, and even then not exactly, namely: Delphinium, Wisteria, and Pinkie Winky. The first are blue, the second are purple, the third are white and pink. The others were also in this repertoire.

A lot of people gathered around the table where my friend and I were sitting, mostly the offspring of rich representatives of their races. For example, to my right, some shy fairy is trying to get to know Magno. But there is no place for an ordinary fairy here, so it could be the daughter of some important person, or a friend of one of the princesses, or even the heirs...

She raised her hand to straighten a curl that had been knocked out of a simple braid, (a very strange choice for this event)which caused the long sleeve of her luxurious green dress with gold embroidery to bend, and I saw that this winged one was missing her ring finger. From a sudden realization that dawned on me, I inhaled sharply, which, fortunately, the fairy who occupied my thoughts did not notice, and continued to have a nice conversation with a satisfied Magno. Do you have any idea who's in front of you, you idiot?.. For that, my action was noticed by young children of various rich creatures, who foolishly believed that I was the daughter of some rich people like them, and decided to please their parents and proudly tell them after the holiday, "I made good connections as you ordered, father, mother. Have I earned your praise?"

I shuddered internally at the presented picture, adding to it the faces of their satisfied relatives, and myself  said that everything was fine, I was just a little tired.

Their tension from my sudden action went away as suddenly as it had come, and they all smiled again, vying to tell stories from their rich lives. I wonder how they would react if they found out that a member of a wanted gang of incredibly talented thieves with signs for several years was standing right in front of them? Would they look at me with disgust? Or was it with horror that someone like me was next to them, and they, like the last dumbasses, didn't even know about it!?

Thinking about it, I tried to keep a friendly expression on my face, which I was able to do, judging by the voices that did not stop talking in different ways.

Suddenly, voices that had become my family this year rang in my head.

- Uh, guys, hurry up! Linka is on the verge! - Kogito shouted, causing Magno, who was standing next to me, to jerk in surprise.

- On the verge of what? She sits quietly and smiles at these idols... - he mumbled without opening his mouth, just squinted at me, so that only five people could hear it. Perhaps more, depending on how our mini boss decided.

- Take a closer look! She reeks of disgust for them all the way to Dolore Island! - The telepath stood his ground.

When he saw the face of the dissenter - through binoculars, sitting in one place in the ventilation - he realized that he would not achieve anything with his own words. Then I felt his gaze on me, and I began to mentally curse myself that I hadn't tried hard enough to hide my emotions.
