chapter 7

*Chloe's POV*
The next morning I woke up on the couch in my dads room my mom wasn't in the room I guess she went to the bathroom or something. I went over to my dad and his body laying there lifeless I just felt a tear roll down my face. I whipped it away. Me and my dad were close I couldn't imagine losing him. My mom walked in and saw me standing by my dad she just gave me a weak smile.

My mom looked like she didn't get any sleep for days she had bags under her eyes and she was losing weight cause she hasn't ate since she found out about my dad

I sighed "mom you need to sleep and eat something you look like a dead person walking around" she didn't say anything she just looked down.

"Mom talk to me" I said going over to sit next to her she just went in to tears I tried to comfort her "I don't know what I would do without him. What if he doesn't make it?" She said looking at me with tears going down her face I have to stay strong for her "mom don't say that he's gonna make it I know he will he's a strong man mom just think positive" I said with a little smile she returned the smile I moved so she could go to sleep.

After about five minutes she wen to sleep and I went to my dad and grabbed his hand "dad I know you can hear me I just need you to wake up for me and mom we are both trying to stay strong for you and nows the time for you to wake up" I said with tears I sat there holding my dads hand.

Then a doctor came in I looked up and he gave me a sad smile "I just wanted to check on your dad" I just nodded and put my head down.

After the doctor checked my dad he looked at me with sad eyes I just looked at him like 'what' "is there a problem doctor?" "I need you to go wake your mom up for me sweetheart" so I did.

After I got her up the doctor looked at us "he's been in a coma longer then we expected if he doesn't wake up soon then we are gonna have to pull the cord" me and my mom looked at each other then back at the doctor he just gave us a sad smile and walked out my mom instantly went to tears and walked back to the couch and cried herself to sleep I felt bad for my mom this was her high school sweetheart.

I looked at my dad I could hear the heart monitor just beeping every second
*beep*
*beep*
*beep*
Then all of a sudden I heard what I didn't want to hear *beeeeeeeep* I was torn, broken, lost my dad is dead I cried and scream my mom woke up and the doctor ran in and check and saw my dad laying there dead my mom was like me crying. The doctor covered my dad up I just walked out of the hospital and sat on the bench and cried I just lost the most important man in my life the man that suppose to tell me that I don't need to be going on dates with boys the man that suppose to walk me down the aisle when I get married who suppose to do that. I got my phone put and cold Sammy
S- hey babe what's up
All I do was sniffle
S-babe what's wrong talk to me
C- sammy
Then I stopped
S- babe you scaring me
C- h-he's gone
S- baby im so sorry do you want me to come up there
C-yes
I said sniffing
S- ok I'm on my way
After he hung up I just brought my legs to my chest and cried waiting for sammy.
*Sammy's POV*
I was in my room listening to music and on twitter since Chloe was in the hospital with her dad I didn't want to bother her she needs to be with her dad.

Five minutes later I get a call from Chloe
S-hey bad what's up
All she did was sniffle I was worried
S- babe what's wrong talk to me
C- sammy
Then she stopped she was scarying me a little
S- babe your scaring me
C- h-hes gone
I felt bad she just lost her dad I couldn't even imagine all the pain she must be going through
S-babe I'm so sorry do you want me to come up there
C-yes
She said sniffling
S- ok I'm on my way

After I hung up I got up and put my shoes on I had some black basketball shorts on and a shirt that was red and it said swag in black. I grabbed my phone and keys and walked down stairs and told my mom were I was going she just nodded. I walked out and rushed to my car and drove to the hospital.

After a five minute drive I got to the hospital and parked my car and rushed to the doors of the hospital to see Chloe outside crying I rushed to her. She looked up "sammy" she said and ran into my arms and I just hugged her and held on to her. We were sitting on the bench I found d her on I still had her in my arms she had calm down and little she was still crying. I had pulled her away and looked at her she looked away I put my finger under her chin and turned her head so she was looking at me I whipped away her tears and I just looked at her just to admirer her and how lucky I am to have a girl like her.

We sat there for a few more minutes til she said something "sammy can you take me home I'm tired" "sure" I picked her up and walked us to my car. I put her in the passenger seat the. I walked over to the drivers seat and started driving to her house it was silent but I didn't want to bother her she in pretty bad shape I was I knew how to cheer her up a little.

5 minutes into the ride Chloe spoke up "sammy" "yes babe" "what is your dad like?" I looked at her she was looking out the window still and I looked back to the road "he's a pretty good guy I love him and I'm glad he's my father hes really good to me and my mom and I'm glad" I said and now Chloe was looking at me I smiled and she gave me a little smile and looked down we pulled up to her house I got out and opened her door she got out I shut the door and we walked to her door she stopped and turn to look at me and that's when she started crying I pulled her in to a hug and we walked in and into her room she cried in my arms I help her to her bed and she layed down and I got her some clothes so when she's ready to change.

I walk over to her and kiss her forehead and started walking out "where are you going?" "I was gonna let you get your rest" "no stay with me and comfort me" I smiled at the thought and walked over and layed in bed with her and cuddled with her.

We just later there in each others arm's then Chloe speaks up "thank you Sammy" she said looking up at me "for what" I looked down at her "for everything and being here" she looked up at me and smiled and after that she was asleep and then I was to.
