Chapter 9

*Chloe's POV*

I woke the next morning got out of bed and changed cause i was gonna hang out with bailey before i left she's been there for me and i want to spend the last day in Nebraska with her its gonna be hard but i can make it. After i was ready i hear a car horn so i grabbed my phone and ran out to bailey's car and got in. we were on our way to Starbucks to get a coffee. we got to Starbucks and walked in and order we sat down and waited for our drink the door opened but i didn't look to see who walked in i just kept looking at my phone. they called for our drink i turned my phone off and got up and looked to see Sammy there with the same girl i saw him with at the mall. we grabbed our coffee before i walked out a hand grabbed my wrist i turned to see Sammy. "Sammy let me go now" " no i want to talk to you" "well Sammy i don't i just wanna spend time with bailey before i leave" i said trying to get my wrist free "wait leave what are you talking about" " i leave for New York tomorrow cause i getting a record label you would know if you didn't cheat on me Sammy and i don't need you right i want to focus on my music not you" i finally got my arm free and walked out. The rest of the day went good i go to hang out with bailey. i was in my room making a video telling my fans that i was gonna be in New York tomorrow meeting with Rocco Valdes. After i finished my video i checked my phone to see i had 20 text messages and 10 missed calls and they were all from Sammy. i open the messages and all they said he was sorry he should have cheated but i didn't reply to any of them i just got in the shower and got into bed.

The next morning i woke up early cause my flight leave at 12 and it was 9:30 so i got all my stuff ready and into the car i decided to text bailey asking if she was going to the airport with me she said yea. a couple minutes later we were on the way to the airport it bailey, my mom and me in the car. when we got to the airport it was 11:40 i got to my gate i was saying goodbye to my mom and bailey then the lady said flight 145 to New York "that's me" i said hugging them one more time and getting on my plan. after the plan landed in New York i was getting my bag when i saw a man holding a sign up with my name on it i went up to the man and said " i'm Chloe" he nodded and took my bag and lead me to a limo i was in shock he held the door for me i got in and soon we were on the road. when we got to the studio i walked in and the lady at the front desk smiled at me and said "may i help you" "i'm here meeting with Rocco" "whats your name" "Chloe Dorsett" "ah right this way Ms Dorsett" so i follow the lady looking around in shock the lady opened a door to an office and i walked in and saw Rocco sitting in his chair writing something i don't know he looked up "Ah Chloe your here its nice to meet you i'm Rocco" he held his hand out for me to shake it i shake it and said "well I'm Chloe and its great to be here" i said with a smile " follow me i want you to meet one of my recent artist that i'm working with maybe you to can be a duet" he said smiling i smile back and we walked in to the studio and there was someone in the recording booth sing and he was really good. when he got done he came out "Austin this is Chloe the new artist i'm gonna be working with" "hi i'm Austin its nice to meet you and you have a beautiful voice" "hi Austin i'm Chloe and its nice to meet you to and thank you" he smile walked to Rocco and they were talking about something (Austin is not big yet) i was just standing there when a lady came up to me "you must the new artist Rocco's gonna sign" i nodded " yea and sorry if i sound rude but who are you" she laughed and nodded no and said " sorry dear i'm Michelle Mahone Austin's mom but everyone calls me mama Mahone" "oh well its nice to meet you Michelle" i said smiling she smiled back and walked away "Chloe i want you to get in the booth and sing i wanna see what i'm working with" i nodded and walked in the booth i stood there waiting for them to play a song when they did they played i'll be by Edwin McCain. After i sang i walked out of the booth and everyone was telling me that i did good i was saying thank you. Rocco took me to his office cause he wanted to discuss my record deal. after we discuss i went home i had to come back tomorrow at noon when i got to my hotel room i got in and went straight to bed because i know i wont be getting any sleep for a while.
