Chapter 18: Diagon Alley

Y/n asked "where are we going?" Lucius said "you'll find out little one go get ready and wear something classy but not too formal be ready by 2" she said " yes sir thank you" Lucius nodded and watched her as she walked up the stairs. He waited to she was gone and smiled.

When Y/n got up to her room she took a hot shower. She wanted to make sure she smelled good for him. While she was shampooing her hair she was thinking about what the surprise could be. She thought maybe shopping, candle lit dinner, or star gazing. Then she started daydreaming about the date but it wasn't anything sexual it was of him looking her in her eyes and him holding her face telling her how much he loved her.

She grabbed the conditioner and started saying to herself "no no no I can't love him and what if he loves me" she started messaging her scalp and thinking about if she did love him. She remembered that he could read minds so she locked away this thought until he told her or she made a decision. She turned the water off and got out of the shower. She dried herself off and used magic to dry her hair.

She went to her closet to pick out an outfit. She picked out a black long dress that was classy but was still a little bit revealing for Lucius. It wrapped around her neck and didn't have sleeves. She decided to go for a natural but still noticeable makeup look and red lip. She wore black heels and silver jewelry.

Whenever she walked down the stairs Lucius was wearing a black button on with black trousers. He had his beautiful blonde hair in a ponytail with a black ribbon. He was staring at her up and down and said " you look beautiful darling" she said " thank you sir you look so handsome" He said "thank you but are you ready to go?" She said "yes sir"

He grabbed some floo powder and they landed in Diagon alley. Y/n loves Diagon alley and she hasn't got to visit in forever. Lucius heard y/n and Draco talking about wanting to visit a couple days ago so he took her instead. He asked "so where do you want to start first?" She said "I want to go visit Fred and George while we're here at their store." He said "ok I'll go in with you if you want I haven't got to see their store."

She said " that would be perfect" he followed behind me as I looked like a kid in a candy store. He said "if you want anything I'll get it for you" she said "thank you but you really don't have to do that" then I saw Fred and George I ran up to them to hug them both. I remembered Lucius was behind me so I cut the hug short. Fred and George gave me a stare when they saw Lucius. She said "Mr.Malfoy wanted to come see y'all's shop" he nodded and said "both of you have done really good with the shop"

The twins said "Thank you sir" in unison. Every time they did that she found it so funny. She told them bye and they went to Ollivanders.she loved going to Ollivanders as a kid.she haven't been because she already have a good wand. They headed over there anyways though because she wanted to visit him. They stayed for a little bit then went to the next store.

Then they went out for lunch at the Leaky Cauldron. They both ordered a butterbeer and ordered some food. While they waited for their food there was a small silence between. Lucius finally said "I have to talk to you darling" y/n said "ok what is it.. is everything alright?" Y/n could tell Lucius's expression changed on his face and hers was starting to change to.

He said " it's a good thing darling don't worry why do you think I brought you out here today?" Y/n said "to be nice  and I appreciate it" Lucius said " I know you do but I'm trying to show you that I'll eventually go public with you but right now i can't but I'll eventually get there I promise" after he said those words she blushed so hard she looked like a tomato.

We got our food and ate. Looked at the stars as we shopped for the rest of the rest of the evening it was the best day ever. Maybe I do love him.
