Moriah exited the Potions classroom and found that the Gryffindors and Slytherins were starting to duel and she jumped into the middle of it.
"Hey, I'm done." She said smiling at them all.
"What happened?" She asked them.
"Draco kept calling Hermione a 'Mudblood' which made Ron angry and he tried to do a slug eating spell which backfired." Harry explained.
"Draco Malfoy! How dare you call Hermione that! She is my friend and if you keep calling her that foul name I will smack the living crap out of you! So you better start behaving yourself, am I clear?" She yelled at him.
"Yes, ma'am." Draco said immediately, terrified of the woman.
"Good. Now let's all get along and take poor Ron to the Hospital Wing." She said.
"Fine." Pansy mumbled.
"Thanks, Moriah." Hermione said smiling as they all walked together to the Hospital Wing and delivered Ron to Madame Pomfrey.
"What happened to him this time?" The woman wondered about eyeing the three Slytherin students.
"They were fighting like a couple of idiots and Ron's spell backfired." Moriah explained.
"I honestly can't take them anywhere without them causing a scene. Forgive me." She said bowing to Madame Pomfrey.
"It's quite alright dear. We are used to it by now." She said as she left to treat Ron.
"Does anyone else have classes to attend to?" Moriah asked them.
"Yeah, I need to go to my Ancient Runes class." Pansy said as she smiled before leaving dragging Draco with her.
"What about you three?" Moriah asked the others.
"Nope, all my classes are done for today." Hermione said.
"Same here." Harry said.
"I actually have a Herbology class." Neville said before leaving.
"Alright you guys stay with Ron, I'll be back later to check on him. I have to do some experiments on my new spell." She said softly.
"You create spells?" Hermione said excitedly.
"Yeah, wanna come?" She asked her.
"Of course I do!" Hermione said.
"Snape agreed to help me figure it out. I hope that's okay." Moriah said as she grabbed her hand and began walking towards the dungeons.
"With three of the greatest minds, I'm sure we will figure it out." Hermione said. They got to Snape's classroom and she entered with Hermione.
"Hey, Snape. I'm back like I said and I brought Hermione. I thought she could help us figure it out." She said smiling at them both.
"Okay. Let's see everything you got." Snape said. Moriah nodded and brought out all her books and research papers.

"I intend to create a spell that makes messages invisible to anyone else but the caster and the intended recipient of the message." She said softly as she looked at them.
"It is a combination of Revelio (reveals secrets about a person or an object) and Evanesco (Vanishing Spell). It was actually inspired by Illegibus (this spell renders the texts unreadable) and Revelio (reveals secrets about a person or an object)." She added happily.
"I just need help testing it out. The incantation is Verta Occultatum, which is translated from Latin to English meaning Hidden Words." She explained to them.
"Understood. So this spell should work with any kind of parchment and ink right?" Hermione said.
"Yes, it should. Let's test it out." Moriah said smiling. She wrote down a message to Hermione on the paper.
"Verta Occultatum." Moriah said as she waved her wand over the parchment and nothing happened.
"Severus, can you read this?" Moriah asked handing him the paper.
"Yes. I can and I do agree with the statement. Weasley and Malfoy are both idiots." Snape said. She giggled softly as she took the paper back. She stopped and caught her breath.
"Verta Occultatum." Moriah said as she waved her wand over the parchment and the parchment glowed. She handed it over again.
"What about now, can you read it?" She asked him.
"No, I cannot. It seems to have worked." Snape said as he handed it down to Hermione who smiled.
"I can read it, Moriah." Hermione said smiling. "It works!" Moriah said smiling happily.
"Just out of curiosity, why did you create this spell in the first place?" Hermione asked.
"So I could correspond with Sebastian without worrying about spies." She said softly as she looked at them. Snape raised a concerned eyebrow.
"Oh, I'm the heir to a wealthy muggle family. Lady Moriah Elizabeth Evans at your service. My parents died in a fire when I was six. My father's butler who was a wizard took me in and raised me. He was so happy when he found out that I was a witch. He showed me everything that I would need for school and I was happy. I learned a lot of stuff on my own before going. Since I was from a muggle family I had to work twice as hard as everyone else. When I was at Illvermory, I was bullied for being an outsider. I tried to ignore them but it only got worse. They beat me up and abused me there. So I switched to Hogwarts and prayed that things would be different." She said looking at them. Hermione pulled her into a hug. Moriah simply hugged her back.
"It's okay, Hermione. I'll be just fine, I didn't break then. I won't break now. I'm stronger than I look." She assured her as they pulled away.
