Elena stood there— her heart pounding like a trapped bird.

Budum! Budum!

The villagers left her in the hands of the menacing Lycan guards. Their casual talk about her fate sent shivers down her spine as they continued to walk to their destination she couldn't help but listen to their unsettling conversation about her and if the Lycan kings would find her acceptable.

"Another one!" One guard remarked with a chilling indifference, "I wonder if the kings would like this one. If not, I'm willing to keep her."

The guard eyed her up and down.

Elena felt the weight of their scrutiny, and her vulnerability was palpable. The guards' eyes seemed to pierce through her, stripping her naked with their gaze as she walked side by side with them–any remnants of hope she had clung to quickly vanished.

She overheard another guard's coarse laughter as he said, "Don't you have three women now at your disposal, the kings gave you so generously?"

The guards' callousness left her with a chilling realization as she shake at the realization that the fate of the other sacrificed women who had come before her was a dark and sinister mystery–one she would soon find out

If the Lycan Kings did not find her to their liking, she understood the horrific destiny that awaited her in the hands of these guards as they pressed on to the kings throne room.

Desperation welled up within Elena as she silently prayed that the kings would indeed favor because she knew that if they didn't her path would lead to an abyss of torment and despair from which there might be no escape for her ever.

Elena's heart sank further as she continued to be led deeper into the heart of the Lycan Kings' realm. The sights that met her eyes were a disturbing tableau of debauchery and lawlessness.

Drunk men staggered about, barely coherent, while guards struggled to maintain order pushing surveillance in their way.

Half-naked and fully naked women moved about without restraint, engaging in sexual acts in plain view as moans and groans could be heard though out the streets.

The depravity of the scene left Elena feeling even more scared and horrified, and she felt exposed just by being in the presence of these disgusting acts.

The norms of the Lycan Kings' realm were a stark contrast to the life she had known in her secluded village.

Yes, there were things that oje shouldn't see but not like that. Fear and revulsion coursed through her as she realized the extent of the darkness that surrounded her.

She clung to the hope that the Lycan Kings themselves would offer some respite from this nightmarish tableau.

The grand entrance standing before her was a vast expanse filled with echoes of a medieval era. The very air seemed to pulse with an aura of power and mystique as the sounds of guards shuffling about along with servant's.
Maidens and staff bustled about absorbed in their duties, seemingly unfazed by her presence as they rushed about. It was as though she were an inconsequential specter in the midst of this grandeur. Their indifference only added to the overwhelming sense of isolation she felt as she took a big gulp of air.

Elena couldn't help but marvel at the opulence that surrounded her. Yet as she continued on the grand opulence was shrouded in a foreboding silence broken only by the distant echoes of footsteps and whispered conversations along the way.

She couldn't shake the feeling that she had entered a world where she was utterly insignificant, a pawn in a dark and complex game that she had yet to comprehend. Elena's heart raced as she reached the door beyond which the Lycan Kings were seated. The sounds of shouting and destruction from within sent a wave of apprehension through her. Her fear was palpable as the guards pushed the door open and she was brought forward into the presence of the kings.

As she laid eyes upon them Elena couldn't believe it any preconceived notions of their terrifying nature were shattered.

The Lycan Kings, in all their beauty, were a sight to behold. Their striking features and regal bearing left her momentarily breathless as she gazed upon their beauty. It was as though they were carved from the finest stone, with an otherworldly allure that was impossible to ignore.

Elena's astonishment mingled with her fear as she stood before the enigmatic rulers of this realm. They were nothing like the stories she had heard about their disfigured faces striking fear into men's eyes due to the constant fighting they were involved in even stories about them eating omegas. She wondered if their beauty concealed a darkness even more profound than she could imagine,  or if there was a chance that they might offer her a glimmer of kindness in this unfamiliar world.

The Lycan Kings' fury filled the room upon their entrance. Their shouts echoed like thunder and their faces contorted with anger as they demanded to know who had allowed their presence into the throne room

The guards who had brought her into this tumultuous scene were shaken in terror as the kings looked at them with pure rage.

In the face of the kings' rage, the guards quickly fell to their knees, their voices trembling as they stammered apologies. "Sorry, sires," they pleaded, their heads bowed. "We brought your next sacrifice we didn't think to knock."

Elena stood at the center of this chaotic and intimidating seen to scared to move as she kept her eyes fixed on the Lycan Kings, her fear uncontained as she shook from the share dominance of their presence.

She had entered their realm as a mere pawn and now she found herself in the midst of a storm of fury and power, with the fate of her life hanging by the thinnest of threads.

The Lycan Kings took a step closer in her direction, their piercing gaze fixed upon her.

Involuntarily she stepped back, but the guards blocked her path as she braces against them, leaving her with no escape. The tension in the room was heavy as the kings studied her with inscrutable expressions going from her back to her front even touching her hair.

Elena's self-doubt gnawed at her. She knew she wasn't considered conventionally beautiful by the standards of their world, and her unease deepened while she wondered if she was good enough. She could feel their scrutiny, their eyes lingering on her face as if searching for something beyond her physical appearance. She looked straight ahead, not willing to challenge them.

Then as abruptly as they had approached the kings turned and returned to their thrones. Their faces remained masked,  revealing nothing of their thoughts. Elena was left waiting in suspense with her heart in her throat as the weight of her fate hung in the balance.

She hoped desperately that she had somehow managed to please these ruthless rulers, for she knew that her destiny rested solely in their hands because if they didn't Elena's life was over.
