After a long night of tossing and turning I finally fell asleep for thirty minutes. Finally the sun rose and I rolled out of bed. Half tired I entered the shower and woke myself up with the warm water. When I got out of the shower Bucky was sitting on my bed.
"Really Buck? You know I'm with Clint."
He shakes his head and laughs, "Not why I'm here. Clint's kids are coming today."
I paused and looked at him, "What? Why are you telling me?"
"Because Clint asked me to. He doesn't know about our history yet, Flamme?"
I sigh and enter my closet to get dressed. I picked out a green crop top with a leather jacket and a pair of skinny jeans. The green crop top had a bow and arrow on it. I walked back out to the room and looked at Bucky.
"Okay, I need to talk to Clint first. He needs to know I'm going to breakfast with you, and nothing is going on. Let's go."
Bucky nods and we head to the elevator. After we descend to the lowest level, the door opens and Clint stands there. He looks at me and then Bucky.
"Uhh why is he still here? I just asked him to deliver a message."
I pull Clint aside, and into a room, saying, "Elskan, I need to talk to you."
"What's wrong Em?"
I sigh and look at him, responding, "Bucky and I are going to breakfast. He is one of my best friends."
He looks at me, confused, asking, "Why are you telling me this? Do you want more to go on?"
I shake my head fast, "No. I don't want anything with him. I want to explore us."
"Oh really? And cute crop top. Is that bow and arrow for me?"
He gives me a small smile and kisses my forehead. I laugh, nodding, and hug him before he opens the door and kisses me quickly and pats Bucky's arm.
"Keep her safe or we will have issues."
Bucky nods before we head out and to a little cafe in Brooklyn. He brings out his motorcycle, a sleek black harley davidson with a leather seat and only one helmet.
I stared at Bucky for a moment before asking, "Where is the second helmet?"
"I'm a super soldier Flamme."
"And I'm a goddess. So either find the second helmet or we will take a car."
He groans and grabs the second out of the leather seat and puts it on. Before starting the motorcycle, I hop on behind him. We take off and head North about ten miles, then cut across the bridge and into Brooklyn. I hop off the back of the bike and take off the helmet, placing it on the handlebars before we head inside. I sit down on one side of the booth and he sits in the other.
The waitress walks up and smiles at me asking, "What would you like to drink ma'am?"
"I'll take some coffee and water please."
She writes it down before looking at Bucky. He looks at me for a moment before smiling at her.
"I'll take a coffee and water as well."
She nodded before walking away and I studied the menu. Bucky studied his own menu until the waitress came back and set our coffees down.
She looks at me first asking, "What will be for breakfast for you two?"
I smile and respond, "I will have the two French Toasts with sausage and hard boiled eggs."
Bucky speaks next, ordering, "I will have the Biscuits and Gravy."
