Toriel looked at Kris and Susie for a moment, then smiled "how did you two get here? In the ruins, I mean." as she said this, she walked over to a big chair in the middle of the room and sat down.

Kris looked up at Susie, waiting for her to answer, Susie was looking over at the kitchen, still filled with smoke. "Me and Susie where hiking and we fell down a hole in the middle of the mountain." Kris spoke up, they sounded nervous.

Toriel looked at the two of them up and down. "Did you get hurt anywhere? that must have been a dangerously long fall if it was from a mountain." She tried to act surprised, even though this has happened before.

"Nah, we're fine. It's not like a little fall 's gonna kill us." Susie said, she was looking at Toriel now. She thought for a moment, looking around and then back at Toriel, "How do we get out of here anyway? does it just stop at the house or does it go further?"

Toriel looked over at Frisk, "Why don't you show them dear?" She said, "I don't like going out there, it's terribly cold." She smiled awkwardly. Frisk nods and then gestures for Kris to follow, Susie follows after them.

They walk back to the door, Kris and Susie notice a stairway going down in a zig zag, they hadn't noticed it before. "When we get out there, do you want to go to the store?" Frisk asks, "I want mom to be happy and she really wanted to make a snail pie for us today."

"Sure, maybe it would let us get around if we're stuck here for too long." Kris says as they start walking down the stairs.
"You shouldn't be down here for too long" Frisk says, "there is an exit, it just takes around three days to get to it." They pause for a moment. "And a lot of walking"

They had been walking for a while, going through a door at the end of the purple hallway, then walking for what felt like forever across nothing but snow (Susie fell over twice). They finally arrived in some town, or village? Whichever. Frisk walked over to a door that said "Shop" and opened it.
"Why hello there little one!" A voice from inside said, "Come right on in, It's cold out there, well, even colder out with the blizzard that's coming. Now, what brings you... Three.. here?"
"We need snails, do you have any?" Frisk asked.
"Why yes I do, is Tori making another pie?" The lady said with a smile forming on her face.
"Mhm, she burnt the last one." Frisk laughed a little while explaining what happened. Meanwhile, Kris was checking out the display items, always look at the display.
Frisk got done explaining and bought the snails, exiting the shop after with the other two.
